Kendalls POV
As me and the girls sit at the food court eating our lunch i look up and see Ray hanging out with some of the guys from the baseball team.
I immediately look down to my drink and take out my phone, hoping he doesnt see me
"Oh my god-girls, act natural.. hot guys at 12 o clock" says Georgia, fixing her hair as she sees the guys
"Dont wave at them!" Olivia pushes Jordyn as she looks to her confused
"What? I thought yall, wanted to talk to them" she says with her slight southern twang
"Oh my god, guys please" i cover my face more
"What? Do you know them or something?"
"Yes, they go to my school" i complain as they laugh
"Oh wow, my bad girl.." she laughs as some of the guys start to approach our table and Ray and I inevitably make eye contact
"Fuck.. i'm..i-i'll be back" i say, grabbing my purse and getting up to go to..anywhere thats not here and leave the table abruptly
I walk towards the middle of the food court where its busy and packed and just stand there, overwhelmed as everyone towers over me and pushes passed eachother.
I eventually find my way against the wall and watch as all the busy shoppers bustle around to get food and get back to their black friday shopping
Its pure madness in here, coming today to hang out wasnt the best idea
I mindlessly pretend to scroll through my phone, buying some time to hopefully wait out the guys and when i look up i see they're still at the table and Ray is actually talking with my cousins as well
My blood starts to boil as i look at him smiling and laughing with them being all charming and cute like he is.. and then he glances to me.. smirking
I feel my face get hot as i quickly look away, trying to appear unbothered
Who the fuck does he think he is? Is he trying to make me jealous? Why would i be jealous anyway-i chose Anthony..
Right..Anthony.. a REAL man.
I look back to my phone and to type in Anthonys address into the maps and see hes only like 7 minutes away from the mall and we're supposed to be getting picked up at around 3 by Georgias older sister.. its 12 right now..
Surely the girls wont mind if i sneak off to see Anthony real quick..right?
I make up my mind that, thats what im going to do before heading back over to the group and unapologetically, grab my bags
"Oh shit wassup Kendall, i didnt know y'all knew eachother" says Matt, one of the guys in my lunch period who usually sits with Ray.
"Oh hey.. yeah" i say awkardly, not trying to say more than i need to "hey um guys.. can i talk to you real quick.." i say to my cousins, glancing to the guys "privately" i say looking to them again
"What is it?" Georgia starts as the guys get the hint and step to the side, just out of earshot
"Um.. okay so.." i start, not really knowing how to start "m-my friend.." i say cautiously "he lives really close.. and.. i.. i just want to talk to him-i havent seen him in a while and.. my brother.. well.. he kind of made sure of that.." i say "do you guys mind if i.. sneak off for a bit just to see him really fast.. i'll be back way before your sister arrives i just.. this is my only chance" i explain to them
"Wait.. okay but.. who is this friend" Olivia asks cheekily as Jordyn nudges her
"I mean.. of course if you must but.. how are you going to get there, is he picking you up?" Georgia asks
"No im just gonna get an uber" i say "thank you guys for understanding" i say, group hugging them before catching Rays glare and immediately turning on my heels and heading for the front of the mall "okay ill text you guys when im on my way back"
"Wait send us the address and share your location with us" Georgia calls after me as i wave her off, confirming the uber as i try to get away from Rays judging glare as soon as possible
When i finally get outside to the front of the malls entrance im waiting around as im getting ready to text Georgia my address when Jordyn comes out the doors looking around for me before spotting me
"Hey.." i start, confused
"Hey.." she says a bit out of breath "you okay?" She asks
"Yeah.. why?"
"Nothing.. just.. wanted to make sure. You looked kinda spooked when them boys came over and then youre leaving all the sudden"
"Oh.. yeah.. um.. one of those guys.. i have a.. complicated history with.. is all" i say to her "i just really need to see my friend and nows my only opportunity" i tell her
"Okay.. well as long as youre all good" she smiles to me as i go in for a hug which she receive
"I am thankyou Jordyn" i say feeling bad for leaving.. maybe i should stay "do you think im doing too much, leaving to see him right now?"
"Hey girl, im no cockblock.. go get your dick while you still can" she jokes as i laugh, feeling a little easier
At least shes not giving me a hard time
"Do you think the girls care?"
"Babe no, no one cares, if anything we wish we had boyfriends here to run off and have secret rendezvous with" she says as my uber pulls up "have fun and be safe, call us if anything" she says as i hug her again
"I will"
"You sent the address?"
"Yeah" i say getting in the car
"Alright see you in a bit"
"Alright bye!" I call, closing the door

My heart pounds through my chest the entire drive to Anthonys.. why am i so nervous
Just.. breathe kendall.. of course he'll be happy to see me
I suddenly start to have flashbacks of various sexcapades that have occurred in his house and feel all tingly inside just thinking about them..
Did i shave today?
"We are here miss" the driver says as i smile to him, thanking him before opening the door and telling him thankyou
As i step out the car, look towards the driveway and my smile starts to fade..
Whos car is this.. alongside Anthonys..
I swallow hard as the driver peels off and i look back to see his car already in the distance.. damn.. mustve gotten another passenger..
I slowly make my way up to his driveway, glancing in the car to see lipgloss in the cupholder and a purse in the passenger seat..
My heart is pounding again at this point, in my ears, way harder than before and i can barely find the air to breathe before i find myself at his front door, knocking
This is a misunderstanding.. all of this.. im sure Anthony's sister or.. something is here..
Isnt he an only child?
Then cousin! There must be an explanation.. im not.. going to jump..
The door opens, revealing a beautiful blonde haired woman, barefoot and wearing Anthonys robe
