*five months later - in mid april*
Kendalls POV
Im reorganizing the sports bras when i see Giselle walk into the store
"Can i get some help around here" she jokes as i laugh, stopping what im doing to walk up to her
'Kendall mention the discount' i hear in my ear as i roll my eyes as my manager talks in my walkie
"Hi, welcome to victoria's secret, just letting you know, we're having the 10 for 35 sale happening right now on all our Pink panties, and 5 for 25 on our Victorias Secret panties, my name is Kendall let me know if you need anything" i smile to her as she nods, trying not to bust out laughing at me
"Oh wow thankyou.." she says 'seriously' "do you think you can help me pick something out that my boyfriend would like?"
"I mean.. i think it would be pretty uncomfortable for him to wear a thong but i guess i can help" i say, starting towards the pink section as she laughs
"Hows work going" she asks as we sort through the cute undies that she likes
"Slow" i say, reorganizing some that were being tossed out of its spot right in front of me
"You know they're all the same size right?" Giselle says to the lady that was tossing through them "if you want a different size, just look in the drawer-you dont have to mess everything up" she says to her as the lady stops and looks to us apologetically
"Oh.. i-im sorry i.."
"No its okay, i'll fix it no worries" i say as she smiles a bit and grabs one of them and leaves immediately "Giselleeee" i say lowly looking to her
"No Kendall, she was dragging it.." she says as i laugh and she helps me fix the mess
"Thank you, but you cant talk to people like that" i say, still laughing at the face she made
"You cant, i dont work here" she reminds me as i laugh, helping her pick out the cutest undies

When i get off work, Chris picks me up at the front of the mall and i smile, walking up to the car before he suddenly gets out and starts towards the passenger side, tossing the keys at me
I catch them, as my jaw drops and he nods his head, laughing
"i got time today and just upgraded to full coverage so lets do this" he says getting in the passenger side as i squeal, laughing and running to the drivers side, getting in.
Chris has taken me practicing in empty parking lots over these last few months but we've never been on the open road or anything-especially not with other cars
"Okay first thing is?"
"Mirrors?" I look to them, adjusting them
"Seatbelt" he corrects
"Oh..right" i click mine on
"Then mirrors" he says "now when it's safe to do so, you can pull off" he says as i check my mirror and put my indicator on.
I slowly pull away from the curb and straighten the wheel nervously as i go to exit the mall, watching out for the many pedestrians walking and running through the parking lot.

"Good, now do a U turn here" chris says as i put my indicator on, performing the U turn "a little too wide but okay.. just make sure you stay in your lane"
"Okay.. can i do it again?"
"Yeah, make a left here, and then you can do a 3 point down this block, and then come back around" he instructs me as i nod, getting in the left lane as a car zooms passed me, making the car shake from the speed
"Oh my god" i say, rubbing my sweaty palms on my pants "people drive so fast"
"I know, thats why you have to drive for yourself and others..people are idiots" he tells me as the green arrow comes on and we all start to go "make sure to always leave a little space behind the car infront of you, in case they stop short, or break down, or are driving slow.. you always wanna be able to get from behind them if needed" he says as i slow down a bit, and the car in front of us to speed through at the last second, causing us to miss the light and me to get honked aggressively by the person behind me.
"Oh-im sorry did it do something wrong?"
"No he's just an asshole, you're good. I rather you miss the light than cut across the intersection hoping the other cars will wait for you or catch the red camera light-cause you'll be paying those if you get them" he tells me as i laugh a bit, rolling my eyes
Chris' POV
Shes actually doing really good at driving.. better than i did at her age, and i was driving for two years at that point..
Im so happy at the way our relationship has improved recently.. we communicate so much better and i feel like shes actually telling me things about her life and i can with her as well.
We feel like brother and sister again..
Julia calls me as im with Kendall and i send her to voicemail with a text 'w kendall ill call back' and she texts me and asks what i want for dinner
"You know you can answer her right? I totally know what im doing" she says, falling in a pothole and screaming
"Kendall!" I start annoyedly, as she laughs 'sorry' and i roll my eyes, smiling a bit too cause i fall in that same pothole every morning
"What does Julia want?"
"She asked what do i want for dinner?"
"Rude, what about me?" She asked before getting back in the left lane to make the U turn again "okay ready?" She says before doing it again, tighter this time
"Nice.. that was perfect ken good job!" I say, excitedly as she smiles, looking to me before the car swerves and she looks back to the road immediately
"Thank you" she says with a scared face, keeping her eyes on the road as i laugh, directing her to take us home.

Kendalls POV
As i sit at the table in the kitchen on my phone, eating the baked chicken and pasta that Julia made for dinner, i happen to look up to see her and my brother on the couch laughing about something and play fighting eachother over it.
I smile absentmindedly as i look back to my plate.
Im so happy she came to Jersey.. i honestly think her being here has helped Chris and I's relationship so much more..along with the therapy ofcourse.. but I think mostly the problem was that Chris had no life.. so now that he has his girlfriend back, problem solved
I have to admit.. i do kinda feel lonely sometimes.. especially when im around them.. im such a third wheel.. even aunt jenna has to walk away once they start with the baby talk
Speaking of which
"Hey sweetie" aunt jenna walks into the kitchen wearing a cute little matching workout set, as she goes to fill up her water jug
"Hey aunt jen, you going to zumba again?"
"You know it, sure you dont wanna come again? You did so good last time" she says to me as i laugh- she knows i was struggling so bad trying to keep up last time she made me come with her
"Oh no, im still sore from last time, you'll just have to have all the fun without me and let me know how it goes" i say as she laughs
"Alright then baby, ill see you later" she says before leaving and i say bye after her, looking back to my phone when i suddenly get a text from an unknown number and i furrow my brows as i go to click the notification and i immediately freeze up
