C h a p t e r T h r e e

Anthony's POV

As i was looking around Kendalls room i hear her running up the stairs and coming towards her room and my eyes widen

'Fuck' i think to myself as she barges in and im caught

Shes crying. Why? I dont know, but she looks to me confused before checking to see if shes seeing this right and if she was in the right room.

"Wh-what? Anthony? W-what are you doing in here?" She sniffles

'Being a creep.'

"Uh, i-i was looking for the bathroom and i saw this room, and that it was your old room and i just wanted to see what you did with the place." i make something up as she folds her arms, not really listening to me

"I-its fine but can you please leave, i just..want to be alone right now" she says, sniffling as i nod sympathetically, leaving her room before turning around to see her sitting on her bed criss crossed, grabbing a picture frame of her parents and staring at it, wiping tears off her cheeks, sniffling before i leave.

Fuck, that was close. If she wasn't so sad right now, she probably would've been more inquisitive about why i was looking through her room.

I really need to stop.

*Friday*

Kendall's POV

"Kendall...." Danielle starts, walking with Karen next to her, their books held to their chests "you're coming over tomorrow right?" She asks as i smile softly

"I dont know..my brother is kind of being an ass about the whole thing" i explain

"Well, what does your brother have to do with it, just ask your parents" Karen says as i look down

"M-my parents..aren't..around" i say slowly, not making eye contact as Karen looks to Danielle confused, then looks back to me

"Wait..what do you mean?"

"My parents..are.." i start "they died" i say, spitting it out "a few months ago" i finally look up to them

"Ken..i-i'm so sorry" Danielle says

"Yeah, me too. Are you okay? Oh my god, we were so mean to you" Karen says as i laugh a bit

"Its okay" i say to them "you guys didn't know" i say as they look to me, pretty upset about this

"Okay well, can we hang out tonight? Maybe we can try to persuade your brother into letting you come over tomorrow" Danielle suggests

"Nice plan Dani.." Karen praises her as i laugh

"Yeah, I'm sure my aunt wouldn't mind. Its her house anyways" i tell them

By the time practice ended, Karen already had found me and offered me a ride home in her royal blue Mercedes.

"Thanks" i say, as we get into the car

"No problem" she laughs, starting up the engine as Danielle and Giselle hop in the backseat

"This is a really nice car" i say, admiring it as she pulls out of the parking spot, driving through the hectic parking lot, smoothly
