Rays POV

I nervously stand at her door, waiting to surprise her with flowers in hand, before just deciding to knock instead

*knock knock*

I look over my outfit once more before fluffing up my curls and breathing out once more before the door opens to reveal.. Chris?

"Hello" i say politely as he smiles to me

"Hi Ray, please, come in" he offers as i swallow a bit, nervously, looking around to see a blonde lady on the couch and i believe her aunt.. standing towards the back of the room.. and then.. her

She looks.. amazing, holy shit

"Hello everyone" i say to the ladies as they say 'hi' back "hi kendall" i say, smiling to her as she bites her lip a bit, putting her hands together behind her back sheepishly

"Hi Ray" she says softly, taking steps towards me as i take in her beauty.. im so fucking lucky, my god

"T-these are for you" i say, handing her the flowers as she genuinely looks surprised to see them, smiling as she takes them

"Oh thankyou" she gushes "they're beautiful"

"Oh thats so sweet" her aunt says aloud as we all laugh a bit

Lets go brownie points

"Yeah good job man" chris even admits "look" he starts as i turn to him, immediately fixing my posture as i look to him intently listening to "i havent been so kind to you in the past and i know we put all that behind us.. however this is still my little sister, who i love more than anything in this world" he says to me as i nod "i want to make sure when shes with you shes protected, covered, and safe at all times. This is the biggest responsibility a man can have, and i'm trusting you with it. I dont want to hear any excuses about anything." He tells me as i swallow, nodding

Kendalls POV

oh fucking boy.. not this

"Chris.." i start

"No i-its fine" Ray says to me "Absolutely, your sister is.. the most valuable thing in this world and i promise i will cherish and protect her, and make sure if it comes down to it, i will put my life on the line to protect hers at all costs, no question" he says confidently as im taken aback.

I cant even hide my smile, and i can tell Chris looks hella impressed right now by him

That was so hot.

Chris' POV

I dont think anyone was expecting him to say that.. shit, even IM impressed.

I slowly nod my head, frowning in approval before i see kendall giving him all the goo goo eyes behind him

*sigh* yeah yeah i see why she likes him

"Thats what i like to hear Ray.." i say to him as he lets out a smile before becoming serious again

"Ofcourse." He says

"So what are your intentions exactly, with her?" I ask plainly as everyone watches

"I.. um..wait-today? Or?" He chuckles a bit

"Yes, today, tomorrow, going forward" i clarify as he nods in understanding

"I uh.. well" he clears his throat, stepping towards me and glances to kendall before lowering his voice "i wanted to um.. ask her officially to be my girlfriend today" he admits before pulling back and i look to him knowingly

"Ahh.. i see" i say to him "lets talk outside" i say as he nods "we'll be right back"

"Christian" kendall warns as i lead him outside before winking to her and closing the door to talk with him
