Kendalls POV

After that whole fiasco we all lingered around the food court for a bit and a couple of the guys went after Cara and Bryan to see what was up.

We were all kind of over the park at this point and were all ready to go..we've literally been here all day

"This was so much fun" i say as me and Ray walk side by side, out of the park in the group

"Yeah.. im glad you came" he admits

"I almost didnt" i say as he takes my hand in his and i feel the electricity surge between us..

he goes to say something to me before Georgia interrupts us by asking if im still riding with them home.

"Oh.. uh-Yeah i-"

"Let me take you home" he offers as i look back to him.. intrigued by his offer..

Some alone time couldnt hurt..

"If.. thats okay with your brother of course" he says as i laugh a bit

"Thank you so much Georgia, but i'll ride with Ray" i tell her, hugging her as she nods

"No problem." She says into the hug before holding me tighter to say "have fun" she says suggestively as i pull apart laughing

We were planning to stay till the park closed but its only 7, so.. Chris isnt expecting me back for quite some time..

'Give him a chance, kendall. You dont know what he will allow or what he will freak out about cause you never give him the opportunity' i hear my annoying therapists voice in my head before rolling my eyes to myself as we walk towards Ray's car, hand in hand

Fine.. ill ask

"Actually.." i start "Ray, do you mind if i call chris real quick.. let him know the plan" i say, reluctantly

"Oh yeah no problem.." he says getting the door for me before i get in his car

I click my brothers contact and call his phone as Ray daps up one of his friends outside the car who waves to me, before leaving with eachother and he heads back over to the driver side

"Hey ken, hows it going. You okay?" Chris picks up, almost immediately as i laugh a bit

"Yeah.. everything's good" i start, looking to Ray to see him still talking to the guys while standing outside the door and laughing about something "um.. we're all about to leave now" i say to him

"Oh.. oh okay.. i told you, you guys wouldnt want to stay there all day" he laughs "you wore yourself out didnt you" he says as i laugh

"Yes, yes, you were right. Im exhausted " i agree, playing with the ripped part of my jeans, bracing myself to ask him "i um.. i wanted to ask something.. actually.. d-do you.." i start, clearing my throat "do you remember Ray" i say to him

"Ray?" He asks "ray.. ray.. ray.. OH-yeah ofcourse.. i havent heard about him in a while what happened to him?"

"Oh.. um nothing.. we just... didnt end up..but-ugh, anyway um" i start, deciding not to get into the details "well h-he was here today and um.. well now we did um.. end up.. reconnecting .. and.. and um.. he wants to drive me home" i say cautiously and carefully not trying to alarm him.

He just stays quiet

"So you two still like each other and he wants to bring you to our house from the park?" He clarifies as i nervously nod as if he can see me, biting my inner cheek

"Y-yeah?" i finally admit, cautiously "please chris" i say, worried by his silence as Ray gets in the car, still laughing a bit as i fan his shoulder to get him to quiet down as he immediately stiffens up, realizing im still on the phone and closing the door as he gets in.
