Unfortunately, even though he had glued himself to Solar, his efforts had been in vain because Solar obviously lacked emotional intelligence.

Jennie crossed her arms. She stood behind Irene and quietly looked at the man who always appeared at the elevator on time. He grinned and greeted them before he walked toward Solar. The corners of Jennie's lips unwittingly twitched.

"I think it's about time to rectify the company's culture."

"Rectify the company's culture?" Irene was looking down. However, upon hearing Jennie's words, she could not help but look up at her in puzzlement.

"That's right. Rectifying the company's culture. Besides, we need to add another rule — No romantic relationships are allowed in the office!" Jennie rolled her eyes in resignation as she hinted at the couple that was not far away from them. They were feeding each other in the sort of cliche manner that a normal couple did.

Before this, Moonbyul had come with a single person's meal. However, he became more aggressive and even asked for a mile when he had been given an inch. Now, he actually took his own lunch box over and ate with Solar!

They had treated the office as a small restaurant for their intimate date. This was very intolerable!

Jennie and Irene knew that Solar totally had no idea that Moonbyul and her looked like they were flirting with each other. She purely thought that Moonbyul was only sharing tasty food with her.

Yet, the interaction between the two was blinding their eyes!

After Irene finished hearing Jennie's explanation, she quietly pushed back the glasses on the bridge of her nose and answered plainly, "Okay."

Jennie fell speechless.

Jennie felt like she was the only one who got amused by her own notion. She decided to turn a blind eye to them and return to her office. Just then, she noticed Irene's lunch box was different from the company's. Besides, the dishes inside her lunch box did not look greasy like fast food.

"Rene, where did you get your lunch box? Aren't you going to be like Solar too?"

Irene cast a glance at Jennie coolly before she said in a low voice, "General Manager, you think too much. All these are homemade by myself. Fast food outside is more oily and I'm not used to eating them. So, I decided to bring some from my house."

As Irene was speaking, she furrowed her eyebrows, looking uncomfortable. She also wondered what had happened to her these days. She lost appetite for most of the food that she usually liked, and she had nausea whenever she ate some slightly greasy food.

In the end, Irene had to bring her own lunch box. Even so, sometimes, she still felt a little nauseated.

It looked like she really had to spare some time and do a medical check-up in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Jennie did not give much thought to it. Even though there were abundant meals being offered in Kim Enterprise and the dishes were rather delicious, all of them were, after all, delivered from outside. The dishes were naturally more oily compared to home-cooked meals. It was only natural to get sick after tasting them for long.

"Rene, I never knew you could cook. Besides, they looked pretty good too. To the person who marries you, they would be a blessed one."

Irene did not say anything. She took a piece of sour pork rib and asked, "General Manager, do you want to have some?"

Jennie smiled. She shook her head and said, "No. I have brought mine as well. enjoy yourself."

Irene did not mind it at all. She took the sour pork rib and put it into her mouth.

Just when Jennie was about to turn around and leave, she caught sight of Irene rising up all of a sudden and rushing over to the washroom. She ran so fast that it shocked the rest on the spot.

"Eh, what happened to Rene?" When Solar heard the commotion, she looked up from among a large pile of delicious food and saw Irene was rushing out of the main entrance.

Jennie furrowed her eyebrows. She blurted out at the two who were at a loss, "You two, just continue. I'll go and take a look." After that, she dashed out in the direction of Irene.

The moment Jennie reached the washroom entrance, she heard someone was making a difficult dry, heaving sound. Her expression changed slightly and sped up to go inside.

The door of an independent unit inside the washroom was wide open. She saw Irene holding the toilet bowl and repeatedly dry heaving.

Recently, Irene did not have a good appetite. Therefore, she only had some bread and milk for her breakfast. She did not eat any food during lunch.

After she dry heaved for some time and vomited everything inside her stomach, she still felt like vomiting. She kept dry heaving and vomited some acidic water.

Jennie stood at the side for some time before she squatted to help to calm her breath. Irene got slightly better after she dry heaved at the toilet bowl several times. Jennie frowned as she asked, "Rene, what's wrong with you? Is your stomach not feeling well? Did you take your breakfast?"

"I took some this morning. I don't know what's going on. Recently, I've been feeling nausea and have no appetite for food. It could be due to the after-effects of the change of seasons."

After Irene vomited for some time, her small face looked as pale as a ghost and her eyes turned red slightly. She looked like a small white rabbit that had been tragically ravaged.

Looking at Irene in her current state, Jennie's heart softened and she asked in a low voice, "How many days have you been like this?"

Irene thought for a while. "Almost a week. At first, I only felt mild nausea. However, it has intensified over the last few days..."

Jennie was absorbed in her thoughts for some time before she frowned and asked, "You've been like this for a week? It is safer to go for a check-up in the hospital. Apply for leave and go to the hospital later. Most minor illnesses are the cause of serious illnesses due to delayed treatment nowadays. You should go and do a check-up. If you are sick, you can cure your illness. If you are not, you at least get a peace of mind."

While Jennie was still in the police force, she often saw her colleagues suffer from gastrointestinal problems due to irregular diets. They had not paid much attention until they suffered from the pain and had to stay in the hospital for several days.

When she saw Irene like this, she thought she was having a gastrointestinal problem just like her colleagues. Therefore, she did not give much thought to it.

"Okay." Irene nodded her head. She held the toilet bowl for support and tried to get up.

Jennie quickly stretched out her hand to help her up while smiling and saying teasingly, "Rene, you threw up so badly just now. If not for the fact that you are not the type who engages in a promiscuous relationship, I would have thought that you're pregnant."

Irene barely stabilized herself. Right after she heard Jennie's nonchalant remark, her entire body turned stiff. Her eyes were wide open to the extreme.

"Huh?" Jennie helped Irene to get up and was about to leave. Just then, she realized the person, whom she was holding, remained still. She turned her head around in puzzlement and saw Irene was in a daze. "Rene, what's wrong?"

Irene snapped out of her daze and said embarrassedly, "N-Nothing... Let's go."

Looking at Irene's obviously guilty look, a sharp look appeared in her eyes. She stared at Irene and remained silent for some time.

Irene felt goosebumps spreading over her entire body under her glare.. Just when she was about to switch the topic, Jennie asked profoundly, "Rene, are you really..."
