Jung Tae's face turned ghastly pale. He flapped his lips for some time before he replied to her dryly, "Min-a, did you hear it wrongly? We were not arguing just now."

"Oh, really?" Min-a cocked one of her eyebrows before she shifted her gaze and rested on Jennie.

Jung Tae's forehead broke out in cold sweat. He kept shooting glances at Jennie. However, Jennie ignored him.

Instead, Xiao Jingyao, who had been following closely behind Woobin and Min-a, pushed back the glasses on the bridge of his nose before he asked teasingly, "Mr. Kim, what happened to your eyes? Why are they looking slanted?"

Jung Tae stopped his eye movements. He turned stiff as he turned his head around to face Min-a and the rest of her group. He grinned as he said, "Indeed, something is wrong with my eyes lately. This could be due to having faced the computer for long hours."

"Staring at the computer for long hours?" A smile arched across Min-a's face. "Jung Tae, I don't think the reason you look like that is because you have been staring at the computer for long hours. In fact, it was due to seeing something which you should not be seeing."

"Madam, that's not right. There are more things that shouldn't be seen on the internet compared to others." Xiao Jingyao played along with Min-a expressionlessly.

Solar, who had been quietly following them from behind thought to herself. 'I am an innocent girl. I don't understand what you all are talking about!'

Jung Tae was so annoyed by the two that his face turned dark. However, at the same time, he had to be wary of Woobin. Therefore, he forcibly held himself back to not refute them. As a result, his face grew darker than thunderclouds. Even the others who noticed his expression were worried about him and were afraid that he might faint anytime if he suddenly suffered from a stroke. By then, they would have to even carry him out.

Woobin stared at Jung Tae coolly and did not say anything. He shifted his attention to Jennie and repeated the question, "What were you guys quarreling about? Jennie, tell us what it is."

Woobin's words successfully captured their attention. Jung Tae's face turned as white as a ghost once again. There was a hint of panic and danger as he looked at Jennie. In fact, he actually felt diffident and nervous.

The corners of Jennie's lips twitched. She smiled faintly as she said, "Actually, we were not arguing with each other."

Jung Tae heaved a sigh of relief. The next moment, Jennie added, "Uncle is the only one who was cussing me out."

"What?! You..." The smile on Jung Tae's face turned stiff before his expression contorted into absolute savagery. He walked two steps forward and was about to strike Jennie again.

"Jung Tae, what are you doing?!" A cold voice with a trace of anger sent shivers down Jung Tae's spine. His outstretched hand dangled in the mid-air.

Min-a drew in a cold breath. Even though she knew Jennie was skillful and Jung Tae could not possibly harm her, she could not help but break out in cold sweat when she saw a big guy lunging at Jennie.

Min-a quickly ran over to Jennie's side and stood between them. Her face darkened as she said, "Jung Tae, what are you doing? Jennie is only a child. No matter how angry you are, as an elder, you shouldn't lay a hand on her!"

Jung Tae's expression turned grave. He pursed his lips and squeezed his hands that were dangling by his sides. There was a hint of sinister and chillness from the way he stared at Jennie.

Upon seeing that Jung Tae did not respond to her, Min-a recalled the words that she heard when she was about to enter through the door. Her expression turned dark. She turned her head around and looked at Jennie as she asked, "Jennie, what's going on?"

Jennie walked out from behind Min-a. She met Woobin's sinister and chilly gaze and smiled faintly as she said, "Actually, there isn't anything much. I wondered where Uncle learned the news from. The one saying that Lisa and I are about to marry. As such, he thought it was very disrespectful that we didn't inform him, so he came over and accused me."

Min-a and Woobin were stunned. They tacitly exchanged glances before Min-a smiled as she said, "Oh, that's how it is. Jung Tae, it's our fault for not informing you about this. We have been too busy these days. Besides, you're not working in the company. Therefore, it's difficult to meet up with you. Moreover, Jung Tae, you couldn't even attend my birthday banquet last time. We couldn't reach you so we didn't manage to inform you about the news on time. As I think about it, indeed, we have neglected you."

Min-a sounded like she was apologizing to Jung Tae. However, there was no hint of sincere apologies from her words. In fact, she had rebuked Jung Tae for not attending her birthday banquet. Otherwise, he would have long learned about this. How absurd it was for him to settle scores from the past.

Unfortunately, Jung Tae was the type who could never read a person's face nor understood their sarcasm. Upon hearing Min-a's words, he truly thought that she was apologizing to him. Therefore, his anger slowly subsided. He became more hopeful with the purpose of his coming.

Seeing that Jung Tae's complexion slowly recovered normalcy, a trace of disdainfulness flashed across her eyes. She added, "After all, it's me and Woobin's fault. Jung Tae, no matter how angry you are, you should look for us instead of making a fuss at Jennie's place."

Since Min-a had said so, Jung Tae naturally knew how to restrain himself. He faked a cough and said, "I was simply too reckless. Woobin, Min-a, I know you've been very busy. Since you've said so, there's nothing much I could say either. I heard that you have found your long lost son, right?"

Min-a and the rest of her group froze upon hearing that Woobin had taken the initiative to bring up Minho. Min-a's eyes flicked with some emotions but they quickly diminished after a while. She said faintly, "Yes, that's right. Minho is Woobin and my son. He was wrongfully taken away from us and was in exile outside for more than two decades. Thankfully, God has shown us his mercy and we have found him. We planned to introduce him to you during my birthday banquet. Unfortunately, you missed it due to some issues."

The underlying meaning in Min-a's words was that it was clear she had invited him to her birthday banquet. However, Woobin failed to make it there and had thus missed so much important information. How dare he still put the blame on them now?!

Jung Tae was rendered speechless. However, he soon recovered his senses. He shifted his gaze and put a smile on his face as he said happily, "All these years, I thought that you both didn't have a child, and we thought that... I never thought you would have a son who is all grown up! It's truly a blessing for you!"

Min-a remained quiet upon hearing Jung Tae's flattering words.

When Jung Tae saw this, he hesitated for some time.. The next moment, he carefully blurted out the words, "Woobin and Min-a, since you guys have already recovered your own son, don't you think you should return Jennie to me?"
