"I..." Jung Tae was rendered speechless upon hearing Jennie's remark, and his complexion changed. He was so angry that he wanted to cuss her out, only to find himself at a loss for words to refute her with. As such, he was extremely pissed off.

Jennie did not bother to waste her breath on the oddball. She added impatiently, "Uncle, do you come here just to talk about this today? If so, please go home. Otherwise, I will call the security guards."

When Jung Tae heard that Jennie was about to look for security guards to drive him away, he got worked up.

However, he did not panic for long. He quickly schooled his face and in turn, changed to an angry expression. "Call the security guards, huh? No matter what, I am at least your father! How dare you want to call the security guards to kick me out? You..."

"Huh?" Jennie stared at Jung Tae coolly. A single snort from her and she successfully stopped Jung Tae from cursing her.

Looking at Jennie's face, Jung Tae felt his heart clench. A voice in his mind told her that Jennie was not playing about with him. If he continued, she would really call the security guards and kick him out.

Looking at Jung Tae's changing complexion, the hint of sarcasm in Jennie's eyes grew increasingly prominent. She mocked him, "Go on. Why stop halfway?"

Jung Tae looked up and glared at Jennie angrily. In the end, he decided to keep quiet. He sucked in a deep breath and blurted out the true purpose of his arrival.

"Actually, apart from that incident, I came here to ask you something."

Jennie cocked one of her eyebrows and asked in a low voice, "What is it?"

Jung Tae raised his head and chest. He cleared his throat before he asked profoundly, "I heard that the young Master Manoban plans to hold a wedding this time. In other words, the Manoban family is going to rearrange a grand feast to marry you into their family, right?"

"So what if it is? So what if it's not? Uncle, does this matter has anything to do with you?"

"Of course there is!" Jung Tae raised his voice and said unhappily, "Since the Manoban family is going through so much trouble to marry you into their family, I suppose they have given you a handsome sum of engagement gifts too, right?"

Jennie was stunned. She turned her head around and looked at Jung Tae. As expected, she saw the obvious hint of greed in his eyes. She instantly understood the actual purpose of Jung Tae rushing over to her place today.

An extremely sarcastic smile arched across Jennie's lips. She did not plan to answer his question.

Jung Tae did not receive an answer even after he waited for some time. As such, he grew increasingly impatient. "It's true, right? The Manoban family is going through so much fuss to marry you, how could they not give you engagement gifts as well? How much have they given to you? Judging from the Manoban family status in Shalnork, I suppose they won't give lesser than this figure, right?"

As Jung Tae was saying this, he showed his five fingers at Jennie and looked at her expectantly.

Jennie furrowed her eyebrows. She cast a glance at him before she tore her gaze away, as if she felt disgusted to even give another glance at him.

Seeing that Jennie was not willing to respond to him even after a long time, Jung Tae's expression turned dark. He raised his voice and shouted, "Say something!"

Jennie narrowed her eyes and sneered, "Say what?"

"Of course, about the Manoban family's engagement gifts! How much have they given to you...?"

"What does this have to do with you?" Jennie interrupted Jung Tae with a cold voice. Jung Tae was struck dumb. "What?"

Jennie snorted. The way she looked at Jung Tae was akin to looking at a street mouse that crawled out from an underground sewer. "I said, what does this have to do with you? Uncle, what does this have to do with you regardless of whether the Manoban family have given engagement gifts to me and how much they have given to me?"

"Of course, this has something to do with me! I am your father!"

"Uncle, do you have a few screws loose in your head again?! I have clearly told you that Woobin's name is in the father's column of my family account book instead of you! It is Woobin who has the right to ask me about the engagement gifts instead of you!"

Jung Tae was in a fit of rage upon hearing Jennie's words. His face turned red. "What did you say? Do you mean that Woobin is your actual father and that the Manoban family's engagement gifts should be given to him?"

Jennie's eyes sank. She said coolly, "Uncle, it's best that you stick this in your mind."

" I know, I know..." Jung Tae was so angry that he let out a bark of laughter before he mumbled to himself. Suddenly, he exploded. He raised his hand and was about to strike Jennie. While raising his hand, he shouted, "You ungrateful brat! Useless bitch! How dare you acknowledge an idiot as your father?! I might as well strike you to death to save me from the trouble of having been pissed off by you in the future!"

Jennie was all ready for this. Just when Jung Tae was about to lunge at her, she dodged to the side agilely so that Jung Tae missed his target.

The next moment, before Jung Tae could balance himself, Jennie stretched out her leg and tripped Jung Tae without skipping a beat.

Jung Tae failed to avoid it on time. He fell down on the ground and let out a loud dull thud.

"You..." Jung Tae was in pain after he fell on the ground. He groaned in pain before he climbed up from the ground. The anger in his heart intensified. He raised his hand and was about to strike her again. Just then, a shout rose behind him and stopped him, "Jung Tae, have you had enough of all the fuss?!"

Jung Tae stopped his hand movement. His body turned stiff as he turned around and looked in the direction, only to find that there were several people standing at the office entrance, not knowing when they had arrived. Besides, the person who stood at the forefront was... one of the main characters in his heated discussion with Jennie a while ago.

"Big... Brother... When did you come in? Why didn't you tell me?" Jung Tae smiled dryly as he took the initiative to say the words diffidently.

Woobin did not answer him. He only stared coldly at Jung Tae's raised hand that had paused in the air.

Jung Tae followed Woobin's gaze, only to realize how offensive his current action had appeared to him and quickly pulled his hand away.

He forced a smile on his face. In his heart, he was already panicking. 'When did my big brother and eldest sister-in-law come in? Did they hear what I said just now?

'I suppose... they didn't hear anything, right? Otherwise, they wouldn't keep quiet until now.'

While Jung Tae was discreetly comforting himself and gradually relaxed his tense nerve cells, someone did not quite seem to enjoy watching him relaxing.

Min-a sized Jennie up. After she was convinced that Jennie was fine. She quietly blurted out, "I heard someone screaming that Jennie has acknowledged an idiot as her father and called her an ungrateful brat, useless bitch, so on and so forth. There was a big fuss that came out of here."

As Min-a was saying this, she smirked and deliberately asked, even though she already knew the answer, "What are you guys arguing about? Who is the idiot? Who is the ungrateful brat and useless bitch?"
