Jennie saw Su Gyeom's obvious resentment in his eyes. She mocked him, "Not willing, huh? You must be thinking that I have taken away your things. You think that this company, the Kim family's fortunes, status, and including the future all belongs to you while I, have taken everything from you."

Su Gyeom's entire body shuddered when his desires had been exposed by her.

When Jennie saw this, she knew that she had speculated correctly. The hint of sarcasm in her eyes grew increasingly prominent. "It looks like you have really thought so."

"Am I wrong?" When Su Gyeom heard this, he could no longer hold himself back and refute her angrily.

"Of course not. Who do you think you really are? Just because you are the young master of the Kim family, do you really think that you have the right to own the entire Kim family, huh? What a joke! Ask yourself, do you really think that you have the ability to take over Kim Enterprise? One, you lack strength. Two, you are a moron. You have no knowledge of the company's operation. You are not a skilled negotiator. You lack a business mindset. Even if I asked you to do an account, I believe your mind would be stuck there as well. You should consider yourself lucky as long as you don't deplete the company's assets, let alone generate income and profits. Besides using the identity of the young master of the Kim family to threaten others, behave smugly, and beat up others as you please, as well as being a playboy, what else have you got?"

"You..."

"Why are you stammering? Did I say it wrong?" Jennie interrupted Su Gyeom in a cold manner. "You looked down on Minchul, didn't you? You think that he's only an illegitimate son instead of an official child of the family like you. As such, you despise him. In fact, he's much more capable than you. At the very least, he knows how to manage the company and bribe others. Even if I have never appeared in the family, Grandpa would not possibly hand over the company to you. He would instead hand it over to Minchul. This is because there is still a ray of hope for the company to survive in his hands and if the company is passed on to you, it would only be destroyed in your hands."

"You... You... How dare you compare me with that son of a bitch?!"

"Did I say it wrongly?" Jennie stared at Su Gyeom aggressively. "Think about it. Apart from him being an illegitimate child and you, being a legitimate child of the family, what else are you better than Minchul? You could simply ask anyone inside the company if they prefer to give their support to Minchul or you. The answer is obvious."

Su Gyeom ground his molars and did not answer her. However, the hatred and disdain in his eyes were apparent.

Su Gyeom found himself to be humiliated when Jennie compared him with Minchul and was even told that he was inferior to that son of bitch. On top of that, the person who taunted him was his nemesis. How could he not hate her?

Meanwhile, Jennie grinned. She delivered the final blow to him without hesitation. "Do you really believe that you have become invincible with the support of those old coots? Hah! Those old coots are aware that they could not prevail against me. As such, they dug you out. It's only a fool's dream to rely on their support to bring me down."

"Enough!" Su Gyeom could no longer control himself and shouted. He was facing down and staring on top of the desk surface. His expression could not be seen clearly. His entire body was trembling.

Jennie was aware that she had achieved her purpose. She then pulled the pen away and got up from Su Gyeom's body before she returned to her seat.

Su Gyeom laid on the desk for a while before he slowly supported himself. His eyes turned as red as a devil, as if he had just been fished out of the water. He was surrounded by a cold and sinister aura.

Jennie, on the other hand, sat on her office chair slouchily and added casually. "Su Gyeom, you've just returned to the company and are not familiar with the company. As your elder as well as your superior, I have to remind you that you should never ever look down on Minchul. That kid is not as innocent and easy to bully as he appears to be."

Jennie reminded Su Gyeom with "good intentions". However, Su Gyeom refused to listen to her. His black face grew darker, and his stare at Jennie was akin to staring at a murderer who had killed his father.

He stared at her for a long time. Just when Jennie thought that he could no longer hold himself back and was about to lunge at her once more, Su Gyeom smirked angrily before he turned around and left.

A loud bang was heard. Jennie's office door was once again slammed hard. Solar had gone to great lengths looking for assistance to help Jennie. By the time she arrived at Jennie's office, Solar and Xiao Jiangyao watched wide-eyed as they saw Su Gyeom leave. It took them some time before they snapped out of their trances and quickly barged into the office.

"General Manager, are you alright?"

Jennie creased her eyebrows as she looked at her office door. She said depressively, "I'm fine. But I think there's some problem with the door."

Jennie muffled her voice as she spoke, "Tell me, which is more cost-effective, appointing a secretary who can stop a person from barging in, or changing out to a studier door?"

Solar thought to herself. 'General Manager, this is not the main issue!'

When Xiao Jingyao heard Jennie's words, he heaved a sigh of relief and said calmly, "A door is a lifeless object, while a human is a living person. Regardless of the choice between changing the door or appointing a secretary, you still have to settle the root cause if you want to have long-term peace."

"Makes sense. However, it's not the right time to get my hands on them now." Jennie crossed her arms and stroked her chin as she said profoundly.

Solar was confused and looked puzzled when she heard their conversations with hidden meanings.

Right after Su Gyeom left, Jennie had a more peaceful life. As usual, by the time she finished her work, it was about time to leave work.

Ever since Jennie allowed Lisa to pick her up after work, Lisa basically came over to fetch her and go home together.

Today was no exception. Since they returned from the Park family's residence, they had unknowingly engaged in a cold war. They had not spoken to each other for a long time. The same went for today.

Jennie and Lisa kept quiet throughout the journey home. The moment they entered through the door, they were greeted by the sight of the grinning old butler accompanying and playing games with Leo, who had gone back from kindergarten.

Before Jennie was reborn, the old butler was the only one in the Manoban family who adored Leo the most. Over the past four years, if it had not been for the old butler, Leo would have been multiple times worse than his actual condition before Jennie was reborn.

Later, Jennie had taken Leo and left the Manoban family. The old butler was also the only one in the Manoban family who was reluctant to let Leo depart from them.

No matter how reluctant he was, at that time, Jennie and Lisa were having bad blood. As such, the old butler dared not simply go to her doorstep to pay a visit to Leo, whom he had been most concerned about.

When he learned that Jennie and Lisa had resumed their relationship and that Leo could return to the Manoban family, the old butler was thrilled. He became more endearing of the child whom he had grown up with and recovered after some time.

The old man's love for Leo was genuine. Jennie was aware of it, and so, she showed more respect and gratitude to this elderly man..
