Jung Tae had thought of many possibilities. But he had never expected Jennie to recall the issues surrounding her mother's inheritance. He also did not expect her to bring up the matter of the inheritance in front of Min-a, Woobin and the rest of the group. For a brief moment, his face became extremely dark.

Jennie patted Min-a's hand, which was grabbing her hand tightly to comfort her, and smiled lightly, "Mother, you have to ask Uncle about this matter. My mother's inheritance was given to me for the purpose of my engagement gifts. I almost forgot about this incident if it hadn't been for Uncle bringing up the issue of the engagement gifts all of a sudden."

A smile spread across Jennie's face as she looked at Jung Tae. She acted friendly and reminded him, "Uncle, my mother has prepared quite a handsome sum for my engagement gifts. I don't mind if you decide to return her inheritance for me and I would still give the Mu's family's engagement gifts to you. However, I'm curious if you still have my mother's inheritance."

How could Min-a not understand the hidden meaning upon hearing Jennie's words? Min-a's expression naturally darkened when she learned that her bosom friend's inheritance saved for her daughter had been pocketed by the man before her. He had even squandered the money on a promiscuous lifestyle, unconcerned about Jennie. With this in her mind, Min-a turned her head around and screamed at Jung Tae, "Jung Tae, explain to me what happened?!"

Jung Tae finally faced the consequences of his actions. His complexion kept changing. After some time, he replied dryly to Min-a's question, "Min-a, don't listen to Jennie. What kind of inheritance is that? How could I possibly not know anything if Hyun-joo had truly saved an inheritance for her? There is absolutely no such thing! There isn't anything like that!"

Jung Tae refused to give up and refuted them, Jennie narrowed her eyes and stated the main point, "Uncle, can you explain to us how you got the diamond ring for your mistress?"

"Diamond ring? What diamond ring?" Min-a was stunned and stared at Jennie as she asked.

Jennie did not respond to her. She focused her attention on Jung Tae. His face had turned as white as sheets. But he refused to admit it, even if it meant losing his life. She then turned around, walked to her desk, and took out a stack of documents. She tossed them on the table domineeringly under the crowd's gaze.

"Saying something without evidence is pointless. Let's take a look at these photos and tell me if I'm lying, Uncle."

Right after Jennie spoke, Min-a and the rest of her group froze before they quickly dashed over and flipped through the photos.

It would have been better had they not seen the photos. The moment they saw them, all of them were struck dumb. Indeed, the main character in the photos was none other than Jung Tae himself. However, apart from him, there was another main character inside the photos.

The young lady in the photos was about the same age as Jennie. With a single glance, she appeared both attractive and demure. However, upon closer inspection, they discovered that the young lady was being intimate with Jung Tae. They did not look like they were only normal friends. On top of that, the young lady had a baby bump. It was obvious that she was several months pregnant!

Min-a and the rest of her group were dumbfounded when they saw the photos. Even though they knew Jung Tae was a promiscuous man who would certainly refuse to be left alone and look for other ladies after Song Ji-hye died, they never expected that Jung Tae would cause the young lady to become pregnant so soon. Furthermore, the young lady was quite young!

While Min-a and the rest were shocked, Jung Tae was enraged.

"You... How dare you have someone follow us and secretly take photos of us?!" Jung Tae's face turned red as he pointed his finger at Jennie. He looked so angry as if he wanted to skin Jennie alive.

Meanwhile, Jennie was unfazed by Jung Tae's intimidating appearance. She snorted, "Uncle, don't speak so harshly. I obtained these sensational photos from reporters who are interested in your personal life. I didn't have someone to specifically photograph you in secret. In fact, if it hadn't been for me spending a fortune on these photos, I'm afraid you would have become the talk of Shalnork. Uncle, it's fine if you don't thank me, but how could you reprimand me?"

"You..." Jung Tae's complexion changed once more. He was about to scold Jennie for being a busybody, but he had to admit that what she said was right.

If these photos were to spread, the public would certainly accuse him of engaging in a relationship with a young woman when he was already so old!

Jennie looked like she still had not had enough of watching the changes of expressions on Jung Tae's face. She smiled faintly and replied to him, "Regardless, Uncle, you could only blame yourself for this. If you haven't done anything wrong, why do you have to get so worked up when others secretly photograph you? If you have done something wrong, you should be more cautious to avoid being photographed in secret. In the end, you've caused a scene and must rely on the younger generation to clean up the mess. What a shame to have you as part of our family!"

"You rascal...!" Jung Tae was agitated by Jennie. He could not stop himself from pointing his finger at Jennie and scolding her vulgarly.

Unfortunately, the others at the scene did not grant him a chance to do so.

"Enough!" Woobin successfully interrupted their argument. He swept a cool glance across Jung Tae and caused him to refrain himself. He then turned his head around and asked Jennie, "You mentioned that your Uncle has usurped your mother's inheritance. What evidence... could we glean from the photographs?"

Only then did Min-a and the rest of her group snap out of their trances. They were so taken aback that they had forgotten the main point after seeing the young lady in the photos.

"That's right. Jennie, spill it out. What's with these photos?" Min-a asked in a dark expression.

Min-a had the darkest expression among the others in the office. She was enraged and irritated when she realized Jung Tae had squandered everything her bosom friend had saved for her daughter and even left her daughter to fend for herself and suffer. She regretted not taking Jennie immediately after her mother died, which was the cause of Jennie's many grievances while in her father's care!

When Jennie heard the two elders' questions, she faked a cough before responding faintly, "Father, Mother, if you look closely at the young lady's hand, I remember there being a photo of Uncle holding her hand."

After Jennie reminded them, they went in that direction and looked for the photo she had mentioned.

The stack of photographs given by Jennie contained only a dozen or twenty photographs. Min-a retrieved the photo she was looking for in less than a minute.

Just when she was about to rejoice, she was dumbstruck once again when she saw the photo..
