I saw you today

There it was, the laugh that I adore

Sometimes I hate myself

Cause it's not me who brings that laugh out anymore

I saw you today

Laughing with a mate

We used to laugh like that too

Little did I know, this would be our last date

I saw your eyes

The eyes that used to look in mine

I always thought, but I never knew

That we were walking a fragile line

I had hoped

That it won't be me who will break it

But it became harder to walk on

So sadly, I did

But I'm still sorry

There is nothing that I can do
