If I were enough

You are enough

That's what they tell me

But I can't stop myself from asking

Am I really?

If I were enough

They'd ask me out

If I were enough

They would care what this crying is all about

If I were enough

They would ask if everything's okay

And not just assume it

And then go away

If I were enough

I wouldn't feel so lonely every night

I'd have someone who smiles at me

With a look, so warm and bright

If I were enough

I wouldn't be writing this

I would be something

That they miss

I'm not enough

At least I don't feel like it

Because no one is gonna appreciate

What I did.
