I can't sleep
I can't turn my head off
Last winter
I lost my glove
I didn't lose you
You were never mine
I can't get you out of my head
So I can't even think of another line
Your new girl's lovely
At least she looks like she is
Heope she treats you right
So she's something to miss
It's better that it didn't work our
We have nothing in common anyway
But beetween us
Do you sometimes wish you had stayed?
Between us
Do you sometimes wish there would've been more?
Sorry, I shouldn't say all this
I just said it
Cause I'm not who I was before
I wish you two the best
Think that's the only right thing to do
Thank you for closing the doors
So I know that I don't have a chance to get to you anymore.
Okay, this is actually my last poem about my first ever muse. After "Our final chapter", I wanted to stop writing about him. I then saw him some weeks after and noticed that I wasn't fully over him yet. I had to write down what I feel one last time. And it worked out really well for me, I found a new muse.
