They think the worst that you could say is no
But actually, it's yes
I'm used to rejection
But definitely not to success
That's why I'm afraid
To text
'Cause I don't know
What is coming next
I don't know what I would do
If you wouldn't say no
That's what I didn't learn
To not let go
I'd say "we should go on a date"
You'd say "I agree"
We'd talk about everything
While sitting in a tree
We'd be together
In a park, sitting on a bench
I'm reading something for you
And you make fun of my french
We'd lay on the floor
And watch the stars
We would know about each other's pain
And each other's scars
All of that could happen
If I'd ask and you'd say yes
Even tho I'm not used to not no
I wouldn't love you less.
