Paper airplanes

We're like a movie

One that goes back and forth in time

No one, not even us

Can follow the storyline

We're like two paper airplanes

That are thrown at the same time

No one, not even us

Knows if we're going to be fine

We're like paper airplanes

Flying through the sky

Are we gonna drift apart

Or are we gonna stay side by side?

We're full of surprises

Like the weather in May

The sun could shine for hours

And then it could turn into a rainy day

It's like a dead end street

It leads to nowhere

But we still try everytime

And go there

'Cause we have hopes

That we won't fight about the end

We know we aren't fine

But we pretend

That we don't

We knew from the start that we couldn't work out

'Cause the airplanes

Flew right into a dark cloud

AAAA this took ages to write. I had the idea with the airplanes in my head for a long time, but it took me three weeks to write something good with it.
