There's a ring in your pocket
It should've been mine
You prepared the champagne
You got out the wine
You went down on one knee
Up on the hill
Asked me to marry you
Hoped I'll say: "I will"
I won't though
I'm sorry
I just can't take all this gold
And all this glory
I just want to work
I love you, but in this ring
I just don't see a perk
You had hoped for this
To be a great show
And you had planned this for weeks
I know
I hoped for this moment
To never come
You're so awesome
Now everyone's gonna call me dumb
You prepared the aftershow party
But there was no show
Because instead of wanting all this
I said no.
