Lover, how you love her

18 1 3

She always wanted to be loved

And you showed her that she's worth it

She gets butterflies when you put your hand on her legs

While next to her, you sit

You make her feel almost as comfortable

As her strong, hot lemon tea

And she would not be scared with you

If you were on a boat somewhere nowhere at sea

You bring her tulips

Cause you know they're her favourite flowers

And I hope you know she likes spending time with you

For several hours

She feels safe with you

She loves it when you bring her home

When she's with you

She feels like she's back in Rome

She writes the lyrics

And you are the music

With you, she finally got hit with cupid's arrow

And not another brick

You bring her caramel and chocolate

Cause you know how much she loves these things

And with you, everything's gold to her

Even rusty swings

And just in case you're wondering

To who you play the melody

I'll tell you

Cause she is me.

Okay little update: I found a new muse and he's just so AAAAAHAHHHHHAA. He makes me feel absolutely loved and safe. This poem was so easy to write because it was just so easy to put my heart on paper and it's one where I didn't really have to think. Oh and to that friend who's reading this and rooting for us, Hi Cupid :)
