CHAPTER 17: BATHTUB FUN

Tom was rocking Thomas, and Sierra.  Sydney was watching him and had Madison.   Judy called and asked Sydney if she and Dennis could stop by, maybe bring dinner.  Sydney told her that sounded good.

They got there with pizza.  Doug and Harry came over too.  Judy was wanting to hold the babies.  Tom handed her the girls.  Tom said, "I'll get beer for us guys, baby can I get you some water or juice."  I said, "Water is fine."  Tom said, "Judy, what do you want to drink" She said, "Water is fine." Tom said, "I'm sorry Sydney that you can't drink, I'd make you a margarita if I could."  Sydney said, "it's fine babe" Tom said, "I feel bad. I shouldn't drink then" Sydney said, "Tom it's fine. I buy the beer for you. I want you to have it."  Tom kissed her. He went and got beers for the guys.

Sydney said, "Judy how is your case coming?"  Tom said, "why don't we just not talk work tonight. It's a Friday night guys."  Sydney said, "Tommy it's ok."  Tom said, "Baby I don't want you upset. I wish you could just forget about all that."  Sydney said, "Tom it's a little hard for me to forget that the father that didn't want to be a dad, didn't want to have me, is father of the year, living two hours away. He wants to be a dad to 4 girls, just not to me."  Tom got up and came over and gave her a hug.

Sydney said, "Tom I'm fine with it ok."  Tom said, "I know it hurts you, you wouldn't be human if it didn't hurt."  Sydney said, "yes it hurts me, and I wish I knew why, how he could do that, but the babies keep me too busy to focus on that.  I have a hot sexy husband who takes such good care of me and the babies, and we have three beautiful angel babies, I am so blessed."  Sydney kissed Tom.

Doug said, "you guys want to play poker?"  They decided to, so Tom got out the card table.

Sydney and Judy were sitting on the couch.  Sydney had Thomas; Judy had both girls.

The guys were talking.  Harry had made a comment, about the other night, and then him and Dennis were laughing.  Tom said, "What's funny" Doug was saying nothing.  Dennis said, "Sorry Penhall, but Hanson has to hear this story."  Doug said, "no Hanson really doesn't."  Tom said, "Tell me Booker."  

Dennis and Harry were telling how they went to this new bar that is downtown, to all hopefully get lucky, and Doug was the one who was hitting the jackpot.  Tom said, "something wrong with this girl or something. I mean Doug, you not wanting me to hear this story."  

Sydney was watching them and listening.

Doug said, "ok guys you two have to admit, you were jealous, and you both were trying to hook up with" He stopped.  Doug said, "you both were trying to get me out of the picture so that one of you could get lucky with."  Dennis said, "yes true.  We all three were working hard to get her, but thankfully you were the winner."  Harry and Doug slapped each other on the arm and laughed.

Tom said, "What's wrong with this girl. She got an annoying whiny voice or something" Doug said, "no the voice wasn't bad, um a little low but."  Dennis and Harry were laughing.

Judy said, "you guys do realize you are being jerks and pigs, in front of these two little girls"

Tom looked at Sydney.  Tom said, "yeah you guys, you can't talk like that in front of my baby girls.  Judy maybe you should cover their tiny little ears."

Doug said, "I didn't hook up with um her. Thank God, I stopped it."

Tom said, "Why. Oh, so did Dorothy know her?  Is she back?"

Doug said, "no she's still who knows where."

Harry said, "Hanson this girl was hot, I still can't believe it. But the problem is the girl was a dude."

Tom laughed.  He said, "For real. And you couldn't tell."  Doug said, "I'll have you know that the other two clowns at this table, couldn't tell either."  Dennis said, "True we couldn't but we didn't go home with her.  You should just be glad that you weren't totally wasted and then found out in the morning after."  Tom said, "Damn man."  They laughed.
