CAN LOVE SAVE (A HIGH SCHOOL REUNION JUMP STREET STYLE PART TWO}

CHAPTER 14: HOME

Tom was holding Sydney. He thought she was asleep, but he couldn't sleep. He kept sighing, and was trying not to move around but he was uncomfortable.  Sydney said "Tommy are you ok"  He said "I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to wake you."  She said "it's fine. What's wrong baby"  He said "I can't sleep."  She said "is it cause you're thinking about the loss of your dad, and how unfair it  is"  He said "no."  She turned on the light.

Tommy said "Baby go to sleep ok, you need sleep. I'm fine."  She said "Tommy it's a little hard to sleep with you sighing every few minutes, and tossing and turning"  He said "I'm sorry."  She said "what is it"  He said "baby I don't want to hurt you. I love you so much, and I never want to hurt you or disappoint you"  Sydney said "Babe please don't tell me you have another secret, cause I really can't take that right now."

Tom said "no it's nothing like that. It's just how upset or hurt would you feel if I drove us home right now"  Sydney smiled.  She said "you missing the babies?"  Tom said "yes I know it's silly, but Syd  soon it's going to be time for the babies to be waking up, and they are going to want me to give them a bottle and want me to rock them back to sleep, this is our special time, just daddy and them"

Sydney smiled.  Tom said "are you hurt?"  Sydney said "Hanson why would you think I'd be hurt. You are the best daddy and it makes me love you even more."  He said "well I don't want you thinking I just brought you here to have sex, and that's sex is all I want. I know you've thought or felt like that is all I want in the past, which wasn't true then, and not true now."  Sydney said "ok first Hanson I know you love me. And second I think I brought you here for sex."  She smiled.  He said "So then you are saying what, if you want to stay here until morning it's fine baby."  She said "let's go home Hanson. I am missing the babies too. I wanted to go home but I didn't want to hurt your feelings" Tom said "I know it's silly, because they are fine, but I haven't missed a night of getting up with them since the day I brought you and the babies home. And I just don't want to miss a single night. I love our time together"  Sydney said "I love you"  He said "I love you."

They went home.  Doug and Harry were on the sofa and love seat holding the babies, Dennis and Judy were asleep curled up together on the couch. The babies were all asleep. Abby was asleep in her bed. Doug said "Hanson I thought you were going to stay away all night with your wife."  Sydney laughed.  She said "Hanson missed the babies,"  Tom said "yes I did. It's my special time with them soon."

Harry said "Well they are sound asleep. Sleeping away."  Tom said "Well that will be changing soon, in like 5 4 3 2 1.  Then Tommy started crying. Tom looked at Sydney. He said "Do I know my babies or what."  Sydney laughed.  Then Madison and Sierra started crying and Abby woke up, and ran over to Tommy and Sydney.  Sydney picked her up and kissed her and Tom gave her a kiss, then Sydney put her down.

Sydney said "Babe I'll get Tommy, if you want to get your daughters"  She smiled.  Judy said "Couldn't stay away huh Hanson"  He smiled and said "no"  Sydney laughed.  She said "night everyone."  She took Tommy in bedroom, and Abby ran with her.  Tom said "thank you all for babysitting and letting me get Sydney away. She needed some time just the two of us. I appreciate you all, and you are more than welcome to crash here the rest of night."

Tom came in the bedroom. Sydney said "Babe I know it's your time, but would you mind if I nursed Tommy and then you feed the girls?"  After they were all fed, Tom got them back to sleep and he got in bed and held Sydney.  Sydney said "Tommy I love you, thank you for tonight."  He said "I love you too. Night baby"

Next morning Judy made a big breakfast, and they all ate after Sydney nursed the babies, Booker left with Doug and Harry.  Sydney was sitting holding the girls and Tom had Tommy.  Sydney said "Tom you want to go back to bed and try and take a nap, you look exhausted."  He said "I wouldn't mind, but I don't want you to be"  Sydney said "Tom it's fine, and Judy is here anyway"  He said "ok.'  He came and kissed Sydney and the babies.  He told them all he loved them.  he left.
