I watched sadly as Gajeel went off with that man. "Who was he? How does Gajeel know him? Is he okay?" All things I thought as time passed. Since then I've been trying to get a hold of him, but he won't pick up his cell phone and Juvia, Natsu, and Gray haven't heard from him since that day either. I thought he wanted just needed space so I gave it to him for about a week before I tried calling him again. No answer, again. I got worried so I asked my mom to take me to his house. When I got there I ran up to the door and Knocked on it. Gajeel's mom answered in tears.
"Levy, Hi-" She said as she wiped her face.
I watched her sadly "Ms. Redfox, what happened, are you okay?" I asked as she let me in.
She began to explain things to me as I heard heavy footsteps on the stairs. Ms. Redfox and I looked behind us and saw Gajeel staring at us in anger and depression. I stood up and opened my mouth to speak, but Gajeel's mother cut me off.
"Why don't I give you two some privacy. I need to go grocery shopping anyway." She said as she grabbed her purse and keys then left.
Gajeel and I stared intently at each other as she left. Once we heard the door shut I spoke.
"Gajeel, I've been so worried." I admitted as I walked towards him.
He stepped back, looking at the ground "I think you should leave..." He said softly.
I stopped a few feet in front of him in shock "Wh-what...?" I asked softly.
"Leave, Levy...Please..." He said with a quivering voice.
I stayed silent and walked towards him. He took a step back.
"Gajeel, please tell me what's wrong. I want to help, who was that man, I know that's what's happening. Your mom told me everything."
He looked at me with blood-shot eyes and tear stained cheeks. His expression was rough and angry like he could start a fire with his blood red eyes. He looked away again then spoke "Fine, come up to my room and I'll tell you since you're going to be so stubborn about it" He said as he outstretched his hand waiting for me to grab it.
I took his hand as he led me upstairs. He opened a white door and We walked inside the room. The walls were iron gray while the carpet was white and the currents were black. His bed had blue pillows and an orange blanket. A wooden desk was in front of a wall with Band posters and some drawings on it. Some clothes laid on the floor, but I ignored saying anything as Gajeel asked me to sit down. I sat on his bed and he sat in his desk chair.
Gajeel's expression turned hard and angry with some sadness in his voice as he spoke. He told me that the man was his father and everything from his dad leaving to his return. I felt sad for Gajeel and all I wanted to was hold him, but I knew that would accomplish nothing nor would saying sorry. It was quiet for a few minutes before I spoke.
"Gajeel, I don't know what to say or do, but Anything I can do to make you happy I'll do it" I said as I balled up my fists.
Gajeel lifted his head and gave me a small smile "No, It's fine. I'll get over it soon" He reassured me as he got up to sit next to me.
We smiled at each other as he placed his hand over mine on the bed and squeezed it gently.
"I love you , Gajeel" I said with an innocent smile.
Gajeel kissed my head, "I love you too, shrimp"
