Song of the Day: Every Little Thing/ Ryan Beatty
I packed her last bag, putting it by the door. Tomorrow Maria would be leaving me for good. Well not for good, but you know what I mean. These last 3 weeks have been a bitter hell. My parents avoid me so much, I don't even think they exist anymore. My dad is out of control though. He put me on punishment for no reason. So in order to occupy myself, I've been helping Maria since she came home a few days ago. They put her into victim's protection and she actually pressed charges on that sick bastard. She was moving to a town about 3 hours away from here with Aunt Abby. We grew closer over these days. I was always lonely. Nolan and Chaz were stuck together like glue, making me the 3rd wheel, and Chris was always busy with music. But on the bright side, I was happy for him. He might actually get a shot in the music business. I sat at the bottom of the bed, handing Maria her IPod.
"I'll be in my room if you need me."
"Are your parents here?"
"To be honest, I have no idea. I think mom and Abby is downstairs though." I closed her door and went into my room, locking mine. The police still want questions, questions that I can't answer. It was crazy. Who knew one aunt and cousin could cause this much trouble when they visit? I was starting to do my homework when I heard a knock on the balcony. You should've saw how big my grin was when I seen Christofer outside. As soon as I opened the door, his hands quickly wrapped around my waist, while my arms were around his neck.
"I wasn't expecting you."
"Well surprise, surprise. But it's funny because today I was looking in my calender and I realized a certain someone's birthday is next month."
"Yup. I'm an October baby. But it sucks."
"Why?"
"Well because it's October. That's like a scary month or something." Chris chuckled, leaning in.
"There's nothing scary about you. All I see is beauty." His lips tasted like cotton candy, but in a good way. Kissing Christofer is amazing. It feels like the other half of me is complete, or I could be myself when I'm with him.
"I missed you lately."
"Trust me, I missed you too. It's been hell without you. But I want you to come to my house real quick. I'll show you the studio my mom built in the basement. She went crazy when I told her the record producer." I laughed and put my jacket on, going outside the balcony with him. I climbed down the ladder, as he picked me up bridal style as we ran down the street.
"What are you doing!"
"I'm a prince silly." I laughed, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Where's my kiss for saving you?" I chuckled and kissed him, smiling in the middle of it. He put me down and opened the door to the patio. His mom was sitting at the table, cutting fruit and putting them in the blender. Her eyes widened when she seen me, as she ran over to me.
"Nicholas! Where the hell have you been? I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?" I laughed sitting at the table. She greeted me better than my parent's would.
