Glad that it was a Saturday, I hopped out of bed feeling somewhat energized. Yes, I was still mad about all that happened with Vinny, but sometimes in life you just gotta suck it up. I looked over at my table and grabbed my phone, opening up my missed calls and texts. It rung a few times, but I really didn't have enough energy to answer it. One of the missed calls was from a number that I haven't seen before. I called it back.

"Hello?"

"Nicholas?" It was Kendall.

"Oh hey Kendall! What's up?"

"Uh.. I was wondering if today you might want to hang out today?"

"You know what, sure. Uh, I'll be ready in an hour."

"Great! I'll pick you up. Where do you live?"

"124 Manchester Avenue."

"Alrighty, see you then."

Hopefully today won't go as bad as I think it will be.

After I got out the shower, I brushed my teeth and looked through my closet to find something to wear. Being that it was nice out, I pulled out a pair of shorts and a Asking Alexandria shirt. I flat ironed my hair and put on just a tad bit of makeup. When I looked at the clock, I realized that I was right on time. I looked out the window and saw Kendall beeping the horn. I ran downstairs and found Mom lying on the couch. She looked like she was in utter pain.

"Mom are you okay?" Kendall could wait, this is way more important.

"Oh, I'm fine honey my back just hurts. I guess I am getting old. Don't worry about me, your friend is waiting for you." I nodded my head at her as she leaned over the table and handed me a fifty dollar bill. Damn. I don't think I even need a job. She kissed me on the cheek as I thanked her and ran out the door.

"So where are we going?" I asked him smiling. He gave me a look that says, I'm-Not-Spilling and I playfully groaned out loud. He chuckled at me as we drove off to somewhere I don't even know. The radio was playing Pressure by Paramore and Kendall turned up the volume. I bobbed my head to the music and looked out the window, trying to figure out all the possible places we could go. I could feel Kendall's eyes burning holes right through me, but I pretended that I didn't notice.

I didn't even realize we were there until I looked out the window. I gasped out loud as memories of this place came back to me. It was the Turkey Swamp Park. Mom and Dad used to bring me here when I was little and I used to always love this place. We would go there every Saturday and if we missed a Saturday, I would always throw my diva tantrums and start crying. Okay, maybe I was a bit of a bitch when I was little, but don't judge me.

"I'm guessing you've been here before?" Kendall asked me.

"Fuck yeah, but I haven't been here since I was a little kid and I'm shocked to see that it still looks the same." Kendall smiled at me as he got out the car and opened the door for me.

"I was thinking that maybe we could rent bikes here and go ride through the trails in the woods."

"That sounds cool, but I may warn you, I'm still a bit rusty when it comes to bikes so I might awkwardly fall a few times." He laughed at me and we walked into the Rent a Bike center. I picked out a purple one, and Kendall got a blue one. I was about to take out my wallet and pay for it, but Kendall insisted that he would.

"No, I'll pay for it."

" Thanks." I grabbed the bike as we started to ride towards the trail.

"I'm sorry, but it was fucking hilarious when you fell off your bike."

"There was a rock!"

"You fell from nothing!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!" I couldn't even be mad because it was kind of funny. I did fall over nothing, but I'm not admitting that to him. After our bike ride, we were now back at the park in the open grass, with a view of the lake. We talked about almost everything as we rode our bikes down the trail. Turns out, he plays guitar and is a big music lover. He also draws really good. We were sitting in the grass with a blanket spread out and were eating lunch that he also bought us.

"Be quiet and go play your Minecraft."

"Oh I see how it is now. You're judging me and my video games. Puta."

"Did you just call me a bitch?"

"Yes. And a liar."

"So now you're calling me a liar?"

"I ain't calling you a truther!"

"Oh so we're quoting Drake and Josh now, huh?" He reminds me of an adorable brother.

"Thanks a lot for today. Today was so fun that I can't eve-" Before I could even finish my sentence, Kendall pulled me close and his lips crashed against mine.
