Thank you so much for choosing to read my enemies to lovers Sebastian Sallow fanfic, Passionate Professors! I wanted to go into more detail about the structure and what you can expect (without giving too much away of course!!)

In the community, there are a lot of great smutty, fast paced romances out there and some beautiful slow burn love stories written. This story is definitely different. It's fluffy, dark, partly spicy, partly slow burn romance with some mystery and action mixed in. I was inspired to stretch the timeline, create some drama, and give you a new take on a relationship with Sebastian (he's a little grumpy this time around but still lovable). Ominis girlies I'm sorry, he's in this through memories and as a background character but it's mostly about FMC and Sebastian.

Passionate Professors is a first person POV that takes place 12 years after the defeat of Ranrok and 10 years after graduation, making our characters around 27-28 years old. I tried to stay true to the time period but there are some details that obviously wouldn't happen in the 1800's like clothing choices, makeup, etc. Please ignore these elements if you want to truly immerse into the timeline but I thought describing them would help provide a better visual.

When I say it's a slow burn, it's SLOW. Our FMC, Gianna Eversley hasn't spoken with Sebastian in 10 years. She relives their relationship at first through memories as she accepts a position to become the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. The story is full of warm and dark moments, some of which revolve around the Hogwarts Legacy story and some are new. There are even some elements and topics from the Harry Potter books that are called back on. (Let me know if you catch those!)

Trigger warnings: Mature themes are used including talks of PTSD, death, murder, alcohol, sex, depression, anxiety, and general trauma.

I've added a * to each chapter that contains anything remotely spicy, an idea I got from Ella Sallow, author of EndGame.
