Betrayed and deceived,
Heart shattered, soul aggrieved,
Once trust given, now stolen,
Leaves one feeling broken.

Promises made, now lies,
Heartache and pain arise,
Betrayal cuts deep like a knife,
Leaving wounds that last a lifetime.

But hope can be found anew,
Wounds can heal, hearts renew,
Forgiveness and strength can bloom,
From the ashes of a heart consumed.
