Ghostly Haunting

Silent and pale, a ghostly sight,
Haunting the halls, all through the night.
A soul departed, but still not free,
Trapped in this world, eternally.

Fading memories, of a life gone by,
Shrouded in mist, with a mournful sigh.
Forever wandering, through empty halls,
A spirit lost, in spectral thralls.

Yet in the darkness, a glimmer of hope,
A chance for peace, a way to cope.
The light of dawn, may bring release,
And grant this ghost, a final peace.
