Falling Asleep

The day fades away,
And the night draws near,
Eyelids grow heavy,
As sleep comes so dear.

The mind begins to wander,
And dreams take hold,
A peaceful slumber,
Is what we behold.

In this state of rest,
Our troubles cease to be,
And we find solace,
In tranquility.

So let us embrace,
This gift of repose,
For in the land of dreams,
All our worries decompose.
