Underwater Feeling

Beneath the waves, I feel alone,
Weightless in the depths unknown,
The silence echoes in my ear,
A world apart, I disappear.

The currents sway, I drift along,
Lost in thought, I sing a song,
The bubbles rise, my spirit free,
A dance of light, a symphony.

But as I surface, gasping air,
I leave behind my watery lair,
A memory, a dream, a sigh,
A longing to once again, dive.
