Chapter 18: 3 Days, Months, and Years

Rosie POV

I ran as far as I could, hoping they wouldn't come after me. I only ran for a while longer till stoping. I was out of breath, I was breathing heavily and my heartbeat was fast.

I felt human.

Weak.

Tired.

Sad.

Angry.

I was so emotional. It didn't change the weather though, my powers where gone.

I sat by a tree and leaned my head onto it. I squeezed my eyes shut trying not to cry.

I cant. No, I won't.

After what seemed like hours I heard leaves crunch to the sound of small footsteps coming towards me.

I stood from the tree.

" Hello?" I called out, putting my hand above my eyes to see past the brightness.

"I'm here!" Yelled a small, innocent voice. I walked toward the voice to find a little girl with tears going down her cheeks.

"I can't find mommy" she cried.

I walked towards here as she held her arms open as if asking me to carry her. I picked her up a little surprised that she trusted me. She had long blonde hair and what seemed like green eyes.

"Shh calm down I'll take you home okay?"

She nods her head in my neck.

"Do you know where your home is?"

She nodded and pointed to the way she came from. I found it strange that she didn't just walk home when she knew where it was, I had a strange feeling about. I shook it off. She seemed weird, yet I still followed her directions.

After awhile, I knew something was up. I didn't know my surroundings.

I stopped in my tracks with the small blonde still in my arms.

I looked around trying to see anything familiar. But nothing, just trees.

"Where are we?" I whispered to myself. I looked at the little girl and she didn't look as innocent.

She looked evil.

Her arms were wrapped around my neck, and she she smiled at me.

"I can't wait to kill you" she giggled.

Suddenly it felt like someone was choking me, I dropped the girl and gripped my throat. She frowned and looked up at me her eyes suddenly turning white.

"That's not nice. I don't like you anymore"

At the flick of her wrist, I fell into darkness.

It was strange, I didn't know where I was, but it was bright. It was peaceful, I felt safe. Then there was no more brightness, I was in the dark. I couldn't see anything.

"Hello?" I called out. There was nothing. I was alone. There was no Damon to comfort me, no family to protect me, and no Klaus.
I was scared.
"Is anyone there?" I called out again. I was alone.
Then I was back to the bright side. I felt safe, I was happy. It was strange.

It stayed like this for days. I didn't know what was happening. A man came on the third day, he told me I was important and was needed alive. He stayed and watched over me. He explained that I was asleep, but he took me here to explain things.
He said Lilith, the little girl, needed to kill me so she could raise Lucifer from hell. She knows that I'm alive though. He said that I was to die, but he would bring me back, he said that I wasn't ready to know why though.
He said I wasn't even ready to know his name.
It was crazy. It took me a long time to understand that angels and demons where real.
Today he said he would be able to bring me back. I couldn't wait to see them when I woke up. I missed them so much. It would be worst the next time. Who knew how long I would be gone. I had to understand though. I would be gone for a good reason. I really good reason. It felt like I've been here for three months. Suddenly, I feel the presence of the man.
"Your ready" says the deep voice of the man behind me. I turn around to see that he raised two fingers to my head making me pass out.

It was like waking up from a dream. Nothing unusual. The lights were turned off but I could tell I was in my room. I stood from my bed, but my legs were weak. I sat on the edge of my bed and looked out my window. It was dark outside, but I knew my parents would be awake. Once I knew that I regained my strength, I stood from my bed.
Something was different. I couldn't put my finger on it. At this point I just wanted to see my family. I slightly jogged to the living room know that they would be in there.
"Mom! Dad!"
Their heads whip towards me, both of there faces were shocked and they speeded over and hugged me tight. I laughed and cried I was happy to be with my family.
"We missed you so much" said my mother. We all we laughing with tears. Then a girl that looked about 15 walked out of the hallway squinting her eyes.
"Mom what's-" she stops mid sentence and her eyes widen. I then relies it was Nessie.
"Nessie?"
She runs and jumps into my arms crying into my shoulder. I look over to my mother. I was terrified she looked 12 last time I saw her.
"Mom, how long was I gone?"
Her face then saddened a bit and everyone's mood dimmed.
"Rosie, we found you in the forest three years ago.
