"Are you alright?"
Anika sat on the floor and moved her left arm in circles.
"I think I'm fine. Thank you for helping me, Akira."
"You're welcome. I'm very happy to see you around here, Anika. I can see that you're wearing Shohoku's uniform. Do you live here now?"
"Yes. I just moved in with my... mom. a few... weeks ago."
Sendoh sensed that something's wrong.
"It's dark. Let me send you home." He smiled at Anika with his eyes closed.
Anika just nodded. She liked the feeling of seeing a friend from her hometown. She felt like she's home.
Sendoh took Anika's bicycle and pushed it beside him
"You might not be able to use this anymore. You're lucky that you didn't get any injuries."
Anika kept her silence. She was thinking that Sendoh was way taller than her now. He was more muscular and handsome too.
She wanted to ask him more questions about life... But no words came out of her mouth. She continued to look down.
"Uhm we are here. Thank you for sending me home." Anika said quietly. When she looked up, she was surprised to see Sendoh's face few inches away from hers.
She started to blush and her eyes grew bigger.
"I'm happy to see you again, Anika. I'll see you around."
Anika quickly adjusted her glasses on her nose, looked down, and took her bicycle from Sendoh. When Sendoh walked away, Anika looked at his back. She felt her heartbeat become faster. She tried to shrug it off but she couldn't.
"What is this feeling?" She thought to herself.
