"I wonder what Lilly, Maverick, Teague, and C are doing right now. Haley said. Lb just shrugged. The two of them got to work on the camp, it was going really well, they cut and tied all of the logs Lb had gotten and tied them up to make the frame, then put sod around the frame as insulation. They had three teepees put up by the end of the day.

The next morning they cleaned up the inside of the teepees. On the third morning they washed themselves and the clothes in the stream, and Haley restocked the fire wood pile. Lb and Haley were 'Living large.' Lilly, Maverick, Teague, and C however weren't. They had many failed attempts in catching rabbits and birds, and the deer family they found, Teague, just couldn't come to kill. "Ok we need a plan. We told Lb and Haley we would bring back food. The only food we got are these dried berries." C said, staring at the ground.

"Well we could set a trap near a rabbit hole." Maverick suggested.

"And we could try to hit a bird with a rock." Lilly chimed in.

"At the river, there are bound to be beavers in a deeper section, we could hunt those too." C said. They spent days making traps, gathering rocks, and sharpening stones. By the early morning of the next day, they had 4 traps, about 15 rocks, and 4 spears. "Let's go back to the hilly area where we first tried to catch the rabbits." C said, gathering up the traps.

"Aww no, that's like 4 miles away." Teague whined.

"Well we could go back and tell Haley and Lb that we couldn't hunt." Maverick said.

"How about C and I go hunt for rabbits and you two stay here and hunt birds, then tomorrow we can head to the stream and hunt for beavers." Lilly said, stepping away from Maverick.

"Fine, but don't blame us when you guys are sore tomorrow because you walked 8 miles." Teague said, with a snobby tone.

"And don't blame us when you don't have a single bird because you couldn't throw a rock." C responded, mimicking Teague's tone. C and Lilly ran off giggling at the roast they had just made and Maverick held Teague's arms together so he would resist the urge to throw the rocks at C.

Maverick and Teague knocked out 3 birds by throwing several rocks at a time from a distance or behind a flock of birds perched in the trees. When the bird had been knocked out, Teague spread out the wings and pinned them to the ground. Lilly and C had killed 5 rabbits by luring them into a pit then feeding the rabbits mushrooms to poison them. C tied up the poisoned rabbit at the end of the day and the 2 left the rabbit hole around 5 and were back with Maverick at Teague by 7.

"Behold 5 fat rabbits!" C said, as they entered Maverick and Teague's view.

"5 rabbits, 3 birds, and possibly a beaver, Lb and Haley will be so happy, I bet they are starving to death." Teague said, throwing the birds to the ground.
