Third Person POV
"Wake up."
[Reader] furrowed her eyebrows, feeling a constant tapping on her left cheek. "Leave me alone."
Scoffing, Xiao pinched her nose and mouth altogether. That had [Reader] squirming for air and hitting him to knock it off but he wasn't letting go.
Opening her eyes she gave him a hostile glare while the other mused as her face turned violet.
Reaching for his hair and pulling it enough to snap it off his scalp, Xiao clenched his jaw and gave off a vengeful expression. "How dare you."
Finally letting go and giving her the chance to take in a breath, the two glared at each other.
"Sadistic asshole." She spat.
"Ugly bitch."
[Reader] narrowed her gaze in puzzlement. "How come you know of that word?"
He shrugged and stood up. "Mortals."
"Oh." She said in realization, dusting herself off after reaching for the adeptus' outstretched hand to her. "Thanks. How are you feeling? Do you still feel any pain? Zhongli gave me some painkillers and told me to give it to you." She voiced her concern.
She reached the said pills out to him while Xiao crossed his hands and looking away. "Stop being so worried."
"You can't stop me from doing that, it's natural." She smiled. "Just answer the question already."
"..." Xiao rolled his eyes at her persistence. "I'm fine, it's not as worse as it was yesterday. Does my answer satisfy you?"
Nodding happily, [Reader] motioned him to get the pills in her hand. "In case you need them."
Huffing out lightly, he just took them or else the woman will not shut up.
Xiao stared down at it, frankly doubting its effectivity anymore since the girl he was with yesterday was more than enough to subdue his pain.
"I can't believe you didn't wake me up. My body's all sore." [Reader] complained, body all stiff from sleeping on the hard ground last night.
"And you think my arm isn't? Your head is so heavy I'm practically armless now." Xiao spit back.
