Third Person POV
"My ears hurt." [Reader] commented after listening to Thoma's nagging for hours.
"You get used to it overtime. But it doesn't mean it's going to be less irritating." Ayato mumbled, clearly upset for being kicked out the kitchen. Again.
It took all of their energy to absorb his lectures while sitting in seiza. (polite way of sitting in a kneeled position, seen commonly by Japanese people.)
[Reader] couldn't feel her legs after kneeling for a long time unlike Ayato who was accustomed to that way of sitting.
"Anyways...would you like me to make you fruit tea again tomorrow?"
"Have you been hit by the head? Need I remind you Thoma clearly told us the kitchen is off-limits."
She snorted. "When did that ever stop me? I asked you a simple question so the least you could do, is say 'yes' or 'no'. I'll handle the rest."
"What a headache you are." Ayato remarked. "But yes, do so. Bring it to my study room then. I expect it would be as tasty as it was when I first tasted it." Ayato waved and walked away.
"You're welcome!" [Reader] shouted, making Ayato stop in his tracks and look back. "Oh, thank you." He added bashfully before walking again.
[Reader] huffed proudly at the improvement of their relationship, skipping away to find somebody else she could bother.
"[Reader], he-"
"ASHGIFHKDYAVLA!"
[Reader] jumped high as if the floor was lava and turned to see Ayaka staring at her in utter bafflement.
" ... That's an odd way to be surprised." She commented.
[Reader] breathed sharply. "And that's an odd way to catch someone's attention. You scared the daylights out of me, creeping up on me like that."
Ayaka grinned sheepishly. "Is this the part where I apologize?"
[Reader] sighed. "No, you're fine. I mean literally, because that outfit looks great on you." She said referring to what Ayaka was wearing, noticing it was different from her normal dress.
