Third Person POV

"Ahhh Paimon's full!" Paimon stretched her hands to the air, rubbing her glutted belly.

"You're a high-maintenance fairy..." [Reader] complained with a grouchy expression.

Who wouldn't after cooking the same dish repeatedly for five times just to satiate the monster in her stomach??

"Hmph! Paimon thinks it just proves how much Paimon missed your cooking." She kicked her feet in the air with a pouty voice.

"You weren't planning to leave some pita pockets for Aether and Tighnari at all! It's a good thing I set some aside in advance for when they get back." [Reader] pointed out.

At that moment, the two males entered the treehouse. Immediately [Reader] went to block the view of Collei's desk. Behind her, Collei frantically tried to hide her novel away.

"Welcome back, you two." [Reader] greeted normally, giving them the food she saved so they could eat it. She glared at Paimon who tried to be sneaky and grab one.

Hearing the light clutter behind [Reader] even if he couldn't see it, Tighnari crossed his arms. "Don't bother, Collei. I know."

The trainee forest ranger flinched and sobbed internally, peeking from behind [Reader] to look at her master.

She cried uncontrollably seeing that Tighnari didn't hold the usual firm look he gives whenever he'd catch her. "A-are you mad-mad this time, Master Tighnari? I'm really sorry! This is the last time...I mean it!"

"Now how many times have I heard that before?" Tighnari sighed softly while munching.

[Reader] was just about to come into Collei's rescue and take the blame when Tighnari spoke again. "I'm not mad at all, Collei. If anything, I'm proud of this significant improvement."

[Reader] seemed to have an idea what he meant and settled down, but it took Collei a few more minutes before the gears in her head could function fully.
