A girl with brown hair squealed as she ran down the hallway. She had on a blue and white uniform. The basic uniforms all girls have.
"There she goes again"
People in the hallway were not fazed.It was quite normal for her to behave that way.
"I wonder what is going on now."
The girl had heart in her eyes while holding her phone. It looked like she was going to fly any minute. She ran into a classroom, opening the door as loudly as she could.
"Amy."
"Lucy?"
Lucy ran towards amy and took her book from her hands. She greeted the other group of people studying around her, turning back to her friend.
"You cant be studying when the last episode of this book just dropped."
Amy's eyes widned then she went back to a calm expression.
"What do you mean. I thought the book was going to drop in two days. "
Lucy squealed and smiled.
"I thought so too but it just dropped today. Kyaaa."
"What book is that?"
A classmate asked as he turned his head back. He was an unimportant character so imagine what his face was like.
"It's a light novel.. It ends with the prince and I. Its to cute."
The guys in the class sighed. A usual sentence that would come from her mouth.
Lucy was a hopeless romantic. A very popular girl in school. She was encentric and always picking fights. Although she did that, she was still the most favourable girl in school. Earning the hearts of boys, girls even animals.
"You guys are lame reading cartoons on paper."
Lucy glared and started walking forward adjusting her sleeve to reach her shoulders. The basic lucy is about to fight stance. The boy moved back.
"Why you, I would show you lame, you basic NPC."
Amy grabbed her friend's back as swiftly as she could.
She was a self enclosed girl, loved to mind her business and always stayed out of sight. It was during exam period that she was found with others. First in her class and introverted. Her only friend was Lucy.
She took lucy with her as she made her way to the roof.
"Girl, you know you on your last strike."
Lucy frowned making her fist into a punch.
"Yeah, I would have given him a last strike to."
Amy knocked her head. Lucy screamed as she held her head. Although lucy may be loved by all she was despised by the principal.
"That girl saying that shit doesn't know what manhwa is about."
Lucy and Amy squealed. They were manhwa addicts. Eaten up every manhwa they read. Light novels were just bonuses to them.
"Especially the ones with villainesses."
Lucy squealed clasping her hands together.
Amy chuckled as she copied her friends pose.
"The ones where the female leads dad is the nicest and hottest man alive."
The both squealed till they jumped.
Manhwa was now they had something in common. It was mainly the base of their friendship.
"Bestie. I have a feeling this new episode gonna be lit."
Lucy squealed.
"Yeah? I wonder whats going to happen to the villainess and the others."
They had been reading a new book.
"Although the plot is quiet cliché, boring and fast its still nice."
The book was a normal cliché villainess book. It was about a girl living in the boonies. Her childhood friend the crown prince found her. She was actually the saintess but lost her memories. The villainess was also the cliché villainess.
"I hate how they made the villainess a bad person . It's so cliché. Like she must really not want any of this"
Amy smiled and nodded.
"on top of that the book lacks drama in depth."
Any other person would have dropped the book they were reading. Horrible plot and translations. A book of disasters. But not them. They loved manhwas so much they were self translating the English.

Amy fangirled. Nodding her head.
"I thought his name was gabe?"
They laughed harder.

Lucy stated holding her phone.
"But you know who i really like. I love the baron of the west and the duke of the south ooo lets not forget the count of the west."
The book they had been reading was so vague about the names that each region of thier empire was named that way.
"You pompous whore."
"Dont say that. If i were there i would make them my concubines, why have 1 when i could have them all."
Amy gave her friend a digusted look as they giggled.
"Either way, we need to find a new book to read. Maybe one with a plot this time"
