"If I was reincarnated I want to be the heroine."

Amy sighed.

"A while ago you wanted to be the villainess. "

Lucy shook her head in response. The sun started showing from the clouds. They were on the rooftop the only place that was filled with people. Maybe it was because they were in their final year of high school that made Lucy feel lonely.

"I want to beat up anyone that bullies the villainess. I believe the heroine has that power."

"I suppose so but if you are the heroine you would be the center of attention. Espesh from boys."

Lucy smiled.

"I guess but that's not a [problem for me."

she winked. Amy rolled her eyes closing her book.

"I will rather be the baroness' daughter. I hate attention."

She did. She had serious anxiety from people.

"I don't want to be a main character."

Lucy smiled.

"As long as I am reincarnated with you amy. I would be anything."

"Why do you want to be reincarnated with me?"

Lucy took her friends hands and hugged her. They werent going to the same school as Amy was going abroad with her uncle after thier exams. 

"You are the only one that we prevent me from dying after beating up the emperor."

Amy laughed. She would definately miss her best friend. Of course they can still call, but being so far from her was sad. 

"Imagine being bounded by rules then the emperor says something funny. I would beat them all."

They spoke about it. About what they would do. 

"They are probably smelling since they had no hygiene in the past."

Lucy held her nose picking amy from the floor and holding her waist. 

"Nooo tey would not ."

"Imagine the crown prince ask for your hand in marriage and in his mouth is a white tongue."

"My lady may I kiss you with my tongue that is whiter than my teeth."

Lucy brought amy in as amy laughed pushing her away.

"Ohh whats that in your mouth. Its just my teeth."

They fell to the floor laughing.

The bell rang for their first exam.

"We have been here for 4 hours."

"New record?"

"Amy if we ever die lets reincarnate to the same place."

"What that about. Like we would die."

"Promise?"

Amy held her hand out and hugged her friend. She almost had tears in her eyes. They met in kindergarten at the age of 4 and had been insepearable since then. It had been 13 years.

"Lucy you are behaving very gay right now."

Lucy turned around to try to hit her friend. While amy dodged her punches.

"I knew you were in love with me but this is to much. I didn't know you habour this feelings. I am honoured but I am straight."

Lucy's punches got faster.

"Ahh I accept you, but is your mother accepting of your lgbt life style."

Amy continued laughing.

......

"I failed that exam."

One of their friends said as they were walking home.

"I would have failed mine if I didn't study with amy this morning."

"Uggh I should have studied with her."

"You could study with me to?"

Everyone looked at lucy.

"I want to pass not fail."

Lucy got angry as they reached the side walk.

"See you tonight lucy, bye amy."

Lucy waved as amy turned on the pedestrian walk.

"Those bastards."

"Hahahahahahahahaha."

"Young girls."

An old man from the side walk notioned to them. he had on a suit but it was longer than him. He looked quite suspisious. 

"Good day sir, whats wrong."

The man just smiled and stared at them.

Lucy was confused.

The man walked onto the road. Rising each leg against the order. It seemed like he was trying to walk but his clothes made it hard.

"Hey sir the cars are still moving."

Lucy tried grabbing the mans hand but it was pointless as he was out of her reach. Hes steps were slow yet fast. 

The man kept walking on the road.

"Lucy come back."

Amy shouted as lucy ran towards the man. She was a good person at heart that was why even though she picked fights she was loved. 

"I have to get the man. don't worry I am quiet athletic."

she was quite close to the man, but she noticed the closer she got the further he went. 

'Thats strange'

"Lucy, that man is old anyways, if he wants to die let him."

Lucy looked at the man. For some reason she had to save him. 

A bus that looked out of control was moving forward. The man was still slow. Scared amy ran towards lucy. Her heart pounding. This wasnt something she would do. She hated helping people. But when it came to Lucy she couldnt help it. 

'My best friend is about to die.'

"Lucy comeback."

Lucy ran at full speed to the man. 'This cliché plot.'

Lucy continued to move towards the man.

"Amy"

She cried as she got the man from the road and pushed him.

"I am grateful that you were my friend."

She turned around to see amy close to her.

'How did this bitch get so close to me.' 

She laughed.

It was like time was moving slowing in their time. It was funny and slow.

"You look funny right now."

Amy laughed as tears filled her eyes. the bus had hit them crushing every bone in thier body. It hurt them, but they laughed at each others pain. 

"You know that notion that says 'what would you do if your best friend jumps into fire' seems i have jumped into fire."

"Looks like were dying together in a very cliche way."

Tears filled thier eyes as they hugged each other tightly. 

......

Police men had arrived at the scene. 

"We cant find the old man anywhere."

They had heard testimonies about an old man being seen but had not found him

"Yes also the bus has disappeared. "

It was strange. They looked at the dead bodies of the girls who supossedly were trying to help the man. 

They were hugging each other very tightly. 

"I pray those girls went to somewhere safe."
