Time passed like a blur. She could not pin-point what day it was, nor the hour. The next couple of times she awoke the man was not there. In his place was a woman with a white coat.
Most likely the doctor.
Her cold hands ran over her body a couple of times, but only in the respectful areas. She distinctly remembered the woman asking her a couple of questions, but she couldn't remember what they were, or why she had to answer them.
Then she fell asleep again.
