Enjoy! In front of the goblin sat a girl who looked as if she hadn't slept for a while. Her light brown hair had begun to tangle in her low ponytail, and the bags under her eyes were quite prominent. Despite the frown on her face, it seemed to fade at what was in front of her. The mask of a frustrated emotion turned slightly at the sight, a look of desperation prominent most of all.
"Take it. It's for you, düd." The small dusty red goblin held a wooden cup clasped in his tiny hands. Ice cubes clinked inside against each other floating atop the water.
It was a cold glass of water.
She didn't question what to do next.
Taking the glass, the unnamed girl downed it in nearly two gulps, leaving hardly any moment to gasp for air. Blinking multiple times, she stared down at the bottom of the empty cup nearly fifteen seconds later, the melting ice cubes sitting at the bottom. Tilting the cup back up to her lips, she sucked one of cubes into her mouth and began sucking on it.
The goblin said nothing in response, only looking up to her with his big yellow eyes. They reminded the girl of a bug's face. She couldn't read what he was thinking.
"What? What do you want?" She huffed out through muffled sips of stuffing another ice cube in her mouth.
The goblin only shook his head, a smile apparent. "Ay, it's nothing. You want more?"
The girl furrowed her brow. What did he...? Oh. Was he offering more water? She opened her mouth to speak, a shade of dusty rose appearing on her cheeks. She didn't want to look weak. This was a damn monster, after all! ...But...
"Y-yeah. Whatever." She turned her head away and fixated on the wall as she said this, holding out her cup with a clink of the ice cubes still inside.
'FUCK! WHAT THE HELL IS WITH ME STUTTERING??' The girl cringed and bit her lip in frustration as the goblin took her cup to some room behind the dark counter. With her nose scrunched up, she internally facepalmed.
It hadn't been the first time she felt weak, nor would it be the last time that she hated the feeling of not being in control. Thinking about this, she was reminded of previous times before this one.

"MOM, stop. MOMMA." Fat tears ran down the girl's cheeks as the woman before her stepped closer. She held an object in her hand. It was metal, but the memory of what it was turned fuzzy.
'Shit, shit, SHIT.' She waddled away on the floor from her fast approaching family member, accidentally letting out a wail and panting hard as she was grabbed by the leg and lifted up. The carpet lifted the girl's shirt and rubbed against her. It most certainly would leave a burn.
"We're too old to be doing this. JUST SAY YOU'RE SORRY." The woman hollered. She held a thick country accent.
"FUCK YOU!" The girl's eyes widened as she said this. "No, no-- ma, I'm sorry-"
