Out after Dark

Lived in a small town by the named 'Faz Berry Town' it wasn't much different from other small towns though there was only one major law in town.

Never go outside after dark

You knew the people would get arrested if caught outside of their homes after dark even if they are going to be outside for a cigarette. Though you knew it was for a reason, people would go missing at night or worse turn up dead at the edge of town.

However you were never stupid enough to be caught outside in the dark right?

You managed to get a good job and a decent apartment but your supposed boy friend wasn't exactly being a better half.

He never attempted to get a job after moving in with you, took money from you more than often, and if you ever said no to him he would beat you.

Last time you told your boyfriend he couldn't have money from you, he broke your ankle and gave you a concussion.

Despite your terrible relationship with your boyfriend things were ok for the most part.

Until you found yourself out after dark

You were coming home after a shift from work you were walking to your car when you found out your so called boyfriend texted you saying he took it for a last minute trip with his friends

You sighed knowing your house wasn't far but it was at least an 2 to 3 hour walk "why do I even have you around anymore" you say to yourself wanting to say that to your boyfriend.

As you walked back to your house exhausted from your long work day you barely realized it was getting dark until the sun was already setting, "fuck" you say to yourself.

You tried to run towards your apartment but you were still an hour away, as you rounded the corner you slammed into someone knocking you into the ground hard.

You looked up seeing a man wearing a navy blue hoodie with a pale face, tattoo of a small moon near his right eye and red glowing eyes with a unsettling smile revealing sharp fangs.

You don't bother with a greeting you just turn and run in the other direction 'ok ok ok I know a short cut around the corner here' you thought frantically. As you reached the turn you were grabbed by a man wearing a maroon suit with a golden bow tie having a tattoo of a sun next to his right eye and glowing blue eyes.

You screamed "LET ME GO! NOW PUT ME DOWN!" the man in the maroon suit didn't pay attention to your screaming.

The man in the dark hoodie smiled lightly smelling your hair making you flinch "she smells nice Sun, good pick" the man in the maroon suit nodded holding you close to his chest smelling your hair as well making your skin crawl "mmm very sweet... can we keep her Moon, please?" the man in the hoodie hesitated, looking at you first then at the man in the maroon suit holding you.

Then man in the dark hoodie sighed "I guess it has been awhile since we've had a 'pet' ok we'll keep her" the man in the maroon suit giggled in delight squeezing you tightly "yes, we are going to have so much fun pet" .

You tried to get out of the hold of the man in the maroon suit, "pet? who do you think you guys are? you can't just take people off the streets for fun" you were turned around to face the man in the dark hoodie he stared at you directly in their bright red eyes at first they were merely glowing then they developed into a spiral you suddenly felt tired "that's pet just sleep" the man in the dark hoodie said softly then the world went dark.

You then woke up to them putting you into a cage just big enough for a person, looking around you noticed the cage was sitting in the middle of a bedroom having a mahogany frame for the queen sized mattress and silk sheets ornate dressers, on them had antique lamps.

You sat up still feeling tired and asked "why did you put me in a cage like an animal even if I am your 'pet' I'm still human" you hissed.

The one in the dark hoodie said "if you behave we will let you out of the cage but until then you stay in there" grabbed the bars and shook them furiously "you got to be kidding me" the man in the maroon suit and bow sighed "I know pet, I know but rest assured that once you shown you can behave things will get better here for you" you growled at them seething with anger "fuck that, just get me out of this fucking cage right now!" they looked at each other than at you, the man in the maroon suit and bow tie then said softly "will come by again once you're less stressed" then they walked

You shook the cage door in frustration yelling "fuck you mother fuckers what gives you the right to treat people like this you fucking bastards" you screamed and shouted until your voice was horse, as it grew later you started to drift off to sleep but you kept waking yourself up until you fell asleep on the floor of the cage.

You found yourself at your apartment sighed in relief only to be greeted with your boyfriend coming after you with a bat (like that was new) smashing everything in the house as you dodged his hits. Though as you got away from him you saw the man in the dark hoodie grab you by your top smiling revealing his fang-like teeth. Then the man in the dark hoodie pulled out a dagger from his belt and held it to your throat. You start fighting him clawing scratching his arm then with a low laughed he sliced your throat.

You woke up gasping from your nightmare holding your neck, you look down seeing no blood anywhere, 'that was just a dream?' you looked around at you being in a cage at some massive house 'how is this not a dream?' you thought to yourself.

Then as you calmed down the man with the pale face and hoodie came in the room you flinched a bit knowing your nightmare was about him and it was not thrilling to have him here right after that. Then you smelled something like vanilla, you then noticed he was bringing you food having waffles a glass of milk and strawberries.

As he came closer to you reached for the food feeling hungry, but he pulled the food back, he then sighed sitting down on the floor "if you want to eat 'pet' you have to apologize for calling me and Sun names" he said sternly.

You shook the cage hissing "no fucking way, dick" he sighed heavily "well for starters my name is Moon, not 'dick' second if you won't apologize" he stood up "then you won't eat" he said taking the tray away.

Your eyes got wide "wait you can't do that, you kidnapped you have to at least give me something" Moon sighed "we will once you apologize, and since that's our only requirement for you to get to eat you'll give in soon"

Which happened for every meal either Moon or Sun came in to drop off food and only asked for you to apologize to them simple right?

However you couldn't do it, with everything else you had to put up with your boyfriend at your home and no one you this was just too much.

Every time they came in you yelled and cursed at them.

here was one day Sun tried to talk to you by getting closer to the cage without food. Yet instead of talking thanks to your low blood sugar and anger towards Sun and Moon you scratched at Sun's face.

You flinched a bit realizing what you just did but he didn't do anything Sun just got up took the tray and walked away.

After you scratched Sun it took a few moments before your brain could catch up, 'was that it? Sun didn't even yell at me' you were so confused or maybe it was the lack of food in your stomach.

On the three day you felt weak, too hungry to even bother sitting up in the cage anymore. As Moon walked in the room with food for you however you didn't say one word to him as he entered the room.

Moon first said "ok are you ready to apologize today... hey are you alright, you don't look well" he said looking at you very worried, you tried to sit up with a half hearted glare to tell Moon you were ok but as you got your head up the world went dark.
