English assignment once again but it is on Albus Dumbledore to Gellert Grindelwald. I promise it is not as weird or bad as it sounds.. :)
Many would say I'm one of the greatest
They have put their trust in me
They don't know what I've done
Or who I used to be
I thought quite highly
Of myself
And shunned my family I felt held back
But now I want to go back
To save you and he
To save millions and me
I wish it were then
That'd I'd seen
The horrors, the atrocity
Of our deeds

It was a battle
Of what I thought right and wrong
A battle with my heart
But I wasn't brave nor strong
I gave in partially
Gave up when I lost
I wish we'd both seen
Can I ever be forgiven,
For what I have caused?
I was a fool with a brain
I was smart but insane
I wish it were then
That'd I'd seen

I loved like one would play cards
An endless gamble with no certain win
I'd lost myself throughout the game
But now I've shredded my sins
I want to erase the past
Have my dreams become reality
I want my family and my love
I want to do away with the tragedy

For what I have caused?
I'd be the punished soul
The one not bathed in gold
Just Albus not the great Dumbledore
My mistakes drove us apart
Our lives ended before they could start
Gone is the me who sinned
Left is a carcass hole-speckled within
I can't ever be forgiven
For the misery I caused
I was too foolish
Too bathed in gold
A broken heart among innocent souls
