Hide the sun away from my eyes
So I can't see its light
That goes right through me
Even the shadows stay away
My own one not by my feet
Whispered words but no one says anything to me
Not when the sun hides from my eyes
Thundering clouds like a force field
Forcing me to kneel
To a darkness so profound
There're echoes but no sound
Echoes of shedded memories
Each another key
To another lock
That'll solve me
But could one dare to twist it
Would one dare to risk it
When even the sun doesn't want to be seen
Hides away, shies away
Taking its light away
From my eyes, from me
Leaving me cold
Blank and empty
Dark and serene
Oh yes, the sun hides from me
