Condolences for Failure

I would like to warn everyone that this poem is incredibly depressing. This is in light of recent suicides that shouldn't have happened. Please, if this is something you think about, SPEAK OUT. PM me or call someone. Get it all off your chest. This world can be a great place but only with you in it.

The world only failed you
When it had a corpse to bury
There's a stigma in every denial in every statement and appearance
You know me by my clothes
My hair and the things I might enjoy
You know me by the things I don't like or even hate
My past, my present, my fate
I try to speak
You tell me to wait-
You already know what I'm about to say
Funny how you were so wrong
But your thoughts never changed
Bury me now and shower your grief
My spirit's gone-
You let it leave
Watch me as I fall
Again and again
Watch me as I hurt
Day out and day in
But you don't
Won't, see the pain
There's no bruises
No bleeding
No! You don't see it
Until the world has a corpse to bury
That's when the world has failed
When it missed every chance to save me
That's when the world failed
If life was a class
Your grade would be an F
An F in reality, an F in sympathy
An F in helping hands, an F in SEEING me
I know my problems aren't yours
But then don't wait until I'm gone
To say how you feel
Because you didn't when I was alive
As soon as I'm gone
You wish you'd been there for me
Guess no one told you
There are no retakes
When you mess up royally
The material is there
But no one really studies
And when the world fails
All you can say is "sorry"

And I am. I'm so sorry anyone feels this way or ever has. Trust me, any time you think you aren't loved is ten times less than the moments people will suffer when you are gone. You matter. You are loved.
