I finally found the Games Room to see what looked like a little robot boy giving out balloons. He kept saying hello to the kids whenever they said anything to him.
"Uh, Marionette said for me to see you." I mumbled to Balloon Boy as I walked up to him.
"Marionette?" His voice lowered so that only I could hear. I was surprised he didn't answer me with: 'Hello!'
"Yes." I replied nervously.
"That's odd.." he whispered before quickly putting on another grin as more kids came for his balloons. "Hello!" He said to them, completely ignoring me.
I sighed heavily and walked out of the Games Room and decided to explore a bit more. I noticed a hall that led into a quieter area of the pizzaria. I quickly ran to it and breathed a sigh of relief as the screams of other children faded away.
I padded down the empty hall and came across a closed door. I tipped my head backwards and read the label on it. "Parts and Service." I read aloud. "Hm.. I wonder what could be in here." I reached up and turned the handle, opening the door. It swung ominously slow and I stared into the dark room ahead of me.
I narrowed my eyes to try and see what was inside and gasped when I saw a dismantled robot lying by my feet. It looked like a bear, like the one on stage, but much older. I gasped and backed away, knocking into another broken robot. This one was purple and didn't have a face. I stifled a small scream and fell backwards, right ontop of yet another animatronic: a duck. This one's beak was wide open as if it was screaming and its arms stuck out on either side of her.
I cried out in fear and scrambled away. I was about to rush out the room when a shadow blocked my way. I looked up to see it was that same man from earlier. His purple shirt glowed weirdly in the dim light.
I whimpered in fear and backed away, deeper into the room. I felt my back press against the wall and I looked to my right to see the glint of a silver hook by my foot. It gasped and moved away from it, fearing the hook was attatched to another animatronic.
"What are you doing here, little girl?" The man, who I remember being called Vincent by the girl, grinned scarily and I felt tears blur my vision.
I need to get out of here!
I made a run for it, ducking under his legs, but his hand latched onto my ankle and I screamed in fright as he dragged me out from under his legs. "Sorry, little one, but you made a bad decisions by coming in here. This is my area. Can't you see my mark?" His hand swung towards a dried blood stain on the ground and my eyes widened even further.
"Let me go!" I cried and struggled to escape but Vincent laughed and his hand snaked over my mouth, keeping me from screaming.
"Don't be too loud, child, otherwise they might hear us..." I tried to scream again but he whipped out a shining knife and held it to my neck. "Shh.." he purred, his breath ruffling my neck.
More tears spilled out of my eyes as I stood rigid against Vincent's tight grip.
"Aw, don't cry. It'll be over soon." Vincent whispered and shoved me quickly to the ground. I was crying so much I couldn't stifle another scream and I crouched against the wall, my cheeks wet with tears, as Vincent twirled his knife in his hand. Then he suddenly flung the knife towards me. It hit the wall centimetres from my neck and I let out a whimper which was followed by a loud sob.
Vincent chuckled and retrived his knife from the wall. I managed to gain my footing but I stumbled and fell sideways, falling against a robot. I stared in fear at this one. He had gleaming sharp teeth and russet coloured fur. He looked like a fox. I eyed his hook and eye patch. A pirate fox.
I was distracted by the fox and I didn't see Vincent had thrown his knife again. This time, it embedded itself in my thigh and I cried out, my eyes screwed shut and I parted my jaws in a silent scream of agony. Vincent laughed, "Oh, it's nice to be back to doing this again. Why did I ever stop?"
He pulled the knife out of my leg and I screamed. He shook his head, "What did I say about screaming?" He leaned closer as I screamed again and sliced my cheek with his knife. I whimpered and moved my arms up to block him from hurting me anymore but I knew I was getting too weak already.
Vincent sighed, "It was nice while it lasted, but I suppose I'll have to end it quickly now..." he was about to plunge the knife into my neck but suddenly, the fox animatronic Came. To. Life.
The fox screeched and pushed me aside, leaping onto Vincent as he swung his knife. Vincent let out a shocked yell and fell under the fox. My vision blurred but came back into focus and I watched, my eyes straining to see the fight in the darkness, as the fox and Vincent fought.
It was swift and Vincent hurried out of the Parts and service room in a panic. I felt a wave of dizziness come over me and my leg and cheek throbbed from the pain.
As quickly as it came to life, the fox animatronic dropped to the ground. Lifeless again.Had I imagined it? Was I already dead?
I didn't know.
But then, another wave of dizziness filled me and everything abruptly went black.
