Bonus Chapter

A faint whirring sound was the first thing I heard. I felt my hand twitch and I tried to force my eyes open. Everything felt weird and different. My eyes felt like they were weighed down by bricks.

Finally, my eyelids flew open and I stared at what was in front of me. All the animatronic surrounded me. I saw Foxy and Mangle giving me worried glances. Golden Freddy stood at the back of the group, his eyes heavy with mixed emotions. Marionette kneeled beside me, his hand still on my chest. He lifted his hand off with a small smile.

"Wha-" My voice was rough and scratchy from not being used.

I was confused. I thought I died. I felt the life leave my body. I remember Foxy staring down at me as I bled to death. How am I alive?

Foxy moved from Mangle's side and shuffled to my side. "Rain?" He whispered questioningly.

I looked up at Foxy and blinked before I twitched my... ears.. Wait, what?! Ears?!

I whispered, "Foxy? H-how am I alive..?"

"You're not alive." Marionette responded, his expression solemn, "You're a spirit now."

I tilted my head to the side, "So i'm like you guys? My spirit is haunting this..." I looked down at myself, "This wolf animatronic?"

A deafening silence filled the hall as I tested out my new body. I curled my hands into fists and started examining the endoskeleton inside. I traced my finger down my patterned fur and I smiled sadly. I'm not human anymore... I'm an animatronic.

"So.. uh.. This is different..." I broke the silence. My voice was slightly unsteady but I was growing stronger by the second. I lifted my paw and reached up onto the wall and tried to pull myself onto my feet. With a little help from Marionette, I was up and taking small baby steps around the others. "I feel so heavy, it's kinda hard to move like this... How do you do it?"

"You get used to it. Soon your animatronic side becomes stronger than your human side and you feel as light as a feather." Golden Freddy flashed a small grin in my direction. I smiled softly and my tail waved a bit behind me. The golden bear's gaze stayed on me as I continued to make small steps around them. Soon I reached Golden Freddy and he held out a hand for me to take. I took his hand and smiled softly, looking up into his souless black eyes.

I heard a low growl come from Foxy and I quickly let go, waddling back to the pirate fox.

Then Marionette announced, "It's time to go back. Dawn is approaching."
