Chapter 15

"Rain? Rain! Wake up!"

I felt someone shaking my shoulders and a familiar voice yelling above me. My body couldn't seem to cooperate with my mind and I lay limp in the arms of whoever was shaking me.

After a few fruitless tries, my eyes blinked open and an inaudible gasp escaped my mouth. I looked up into the eyes of Dani and saw that I was still in the pizzeria, laying on the ground. A crowd had formed around me. Worried parents muttered to themselves and nosy children tried to push past to get a closer look at me.

I tried to form my words but nothing came out and instead, a pounding headache formed and I screwed my eyes shut.

What happened?

Dani pushed me to my feet and I stumbled, falling against her. "W-what happened?" I whispered.

Dani pulled me to an empty table and set me down on a chair. I noticed someone watching me and when I turned to look, it was the animatronics who were watching me. Freddy's eyes bore into mind and I shivered. What's up with them? Why are they staring?

As Dani began checking me for any injuries, she explained to me. "You fainted! I don't know how, but I'm positive it was something to do with that creepy dude. I am not taking you here again if that man is around. He is bad luck. I can tell. I didn't get a good look at him, unfortunately, so I can't report him to the police or anything. They'd never believe me."

Dani continued to babble as I rose shakily to my feet and looked around. Most people had gone back to what they were doing. I realised that the amount of people in the pizzeria had shrunken dramatically. Had people been scared by what happened to me? Then my thoughts began to wander. What did happen to me?

I racked my memories of what had happened and I suddenly remembered the flashbacks. The purple person. That image was the strongest. It had the most detail. All the other images I remembered were hazy and blurred.

Dani's voice pulled me out of my thoughts, "We're going home, Rain. No more Freddy's place for this week at least."

"It's called Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria." I corrected as I followed Dani outside towards her car, sulking.
