"Fuck," Remus grunted, deep heaves escaping from his dry mouth. Considering the fact that it was hard enough on it's own moving four stacks of tires into a skip, he was also doing it while the pretty boy beside him watched with blown out pupils.

"Sirius you don't even have a race today." He stated, wiping the bead of sweat that was running off his brow, turning around at the boy who was leaning his elbow on the last stack, his chin resting on his palm.

He frowned deeply, "I know that."

Remus grinned at him and turned back to the last tire on the third pile of tires, picking it up with a heavy huff. Sure, maybe he was showing off a little, tensing his arms a bit too much and tilting his head back a little too often, but the tiny gasps and chokes Sirius let out every time was more than enough to encourage him to carry on with the show.

Last Saturday had been the go ahead for Sirius to stick to Remus' side obsessively. It seemed that he no longer cared about what people had to say, and was putting his own needs before others.

Remus wasn't complaining about this new routine, he arrived at the track set up and got to work, while Sirius stood close and silent beside him. Peter, the good friend he was, never asked about what was going on with the two of them.

The first time he seen the boys together an eyebrow was raised in question, Remus could only offer a shrug of his shoulders back to him, because there was nothing to say about it. They both enjoyed each others company.

Well, it depends really on what your definition of company is, hanging out with a friend? Or feeling your heart race as the racer skimmed his hand across Remus' own.

Either way he was enjoying whatever it was. Sirius had a new found confidence to him now that Remus had  informed him he was absolutely without a doubt a man-lover.

He wasn't afraid to go up to him anymore, instead Sirius practically sprinted into his arms as he went on half hour tangents about something that was pressing on his mind. Once again, Remus did not mind, he listened with attentive ears and offered advice and comfort.

He spun back again towards Sirius, "I have a feeling you're just here to watch me work."

"Me? Never. I'm a simple man Remus, just enjoying the weather." He corrected, grinning mischievously at Moony.

Remus chewed his lip, holding back a laugh and shaking his head. "My mistake then." He moved towards the last pile of tires, watching as Sirius stayed stubbornly still.

"Need anything?" He tapped his fingers against his pale cheek gently, smiling innocently. His fingernails were painted a midnight black, chipped at the bottom cuticle from where sirius nervously chews his nails before races.

"I need the tires, Sirius, can you move?" He asks politely, a lazy smile worn.

He raised a brow, "Make me."

See now you probably thought Remus laughed, or smirked, or even looked away, but this right here? This was a chance, and he was going to fucking take it.

"Okay then," He replies, swiftly walking towards Sirius and grabbing just above his hip bone roughly, he ignores the gasp of surprise from the boy as he effortlessly lifts him up and turns him to sit on the side of the bright yellow skip.

Sirius blinks, "You're joking."

"Sit there and look pretty while i finish with this last stack." He turned around once more and continued with the lifting.

"Yes- Okay- Yes okay." He stumbles over his words and his skin warms to a deep red. Remus hides a smile as he hears Sirius let out a choked cough.

Sirius looked down at his low rise jeans and seen the five red lines that printed his waist, he could still feel the warmth from Moony's fingers, the unspoken trust between them.

He didn't drop him, he didn't leave him on the skip, he didn't ignore him and call him annoying and needy. Remus had sat Sirius behind him, and continued to listen as the boy ranted on about anything and everything.

Remus didn't mind in the slightest, to hear how Sirius' head worked was a sight to behold. He didn't know how Sirius manages to keep up with the speed of his own thoughts, but it was mesmerising to watch.

He was mesmerising to watch.
