"Hey good on you man, I'm cool with the gays." Peter announced proudly, taking one last gulp of the frothy beer he had only bought ten minutes ago.

With a laugh, Remus brought his hand down onto Peter's shoulder comfortingly, "What would I do without you Pete?"

He shrugged nonchalantly, "Die probably."

Remus choked on the half filled beer as the grip on the boy tightened, "Jesus mate, I'm not that dependent."

"Not like that, how many times have I had to stop you from dropping a tire on your bloody head?" Peter cackled, although Remus found it hard to hear over the chatter in the pub.

What Peter said was in fact true, Remus was infamously unbothered when working with heavy objects, lifting and throwing them about with little to no effort, which was a great factor towards his tall, lean build. However when he was so greatly unaware of how many times he nearly hit himself, his tall and lean build wasn't good for much.

Peter and Remus had decided to go down to the local bar for a pint or few to catch up on everything that had been going on, but as soon as they sat down Peter had struggled greatly to get a word in edge ways, as Remus had instantly went off on an hour long tangent about how amazing Sirius Black truly was.

Of course this wasn't much surprise to Peter, as the boy had sat alone on his breaks and watched as the two annoyingly flirted and spent every other minute with each other, he had thought about just asking Remus why they weren't dating already, but he knew better than to question his dating skills.

"Looks like both brother's have their hands on someone at the minute, it's all the crowd could talk about today." The boy stated, pulling out a bunch of coins to slide to the bartender.

This had intrigued Remus, as he took another mouthful of the bitter drink and turned towards Peter on the grimy stool."Who? Regulus?"

He nodded, looking around before closing the gap between the two of them, "Apparently someone had spotted Regulus and James Potter in the bathroom together, not to mention just days after Regulus slapped his ass after his race."

Remus' brain scrambled to place the story together, just a few days ago he had met Regulus by the wall of the outdoor bathroom, and even offered him a cigarette, "James Potter? Rich kid?" He questioned, watching the boy closely as if he might by lying.

"The rich kid, can you believe that? Both brothers having it on with a boy the same time as each-other, that's fucking hilarious." Peter struggled to hold in his giggle as he grabbed the freshly made beer and quickly shoved it against his lips.

Remus kicked his foot harshly and turned to the front of the bar, "We're not getting it on Peter I've told you this, we haven't even met outside of work yet."

With a wiggle of the boys bushy eyebrows, he smirked knowingly, "Yet."

"Shut up dickhead."

"You look like a slut."

James grinned as he looked down at his outfit again, "Perfect." Even though James had never fucked more than 3 people his entire life, word got out about how James Potter was the towns biggest whore. Don't get him wrong, it hurt at first, knowing people could say such crude things about someone they've never even met, but it took only a matter of months for the boy to embrace it gratefully.

Potter loved dressing up, whether it was short bottoms or small tops, James had worn them. He only ever dressed up for himself, the feeling of knowing you look sexy and being able to flaunt it was a privilege in itself.

That is until he met Regulus, and soon after, all his outfits were most definitely for him.

Lily wrapped another ginger lock around her wand and smiled at the boy in the mirror, "I'm guessing that he's racing today?"

James sat on the short white stool that creaked under his body, slipping on his trainers, "And I'm asking him to get a drink with me." He grinned up mischievously at the girl, batting his eyelashes with an exaggerated innocence.

She snorted rudely and let go of the perfectly moulded curl that sat neatly below her shoulders, "You're impossible you know? You're lovesick."

This wasn't a lie at all, and James knew that, everyone around him knew it too. He made sure his whole entire family knew how besotted their beautiful young potter was with Regulus Black. It felt dangerous and wrong, to be in love with the boy that was practically a criminal. Adrenaline stamped wildly through his veins and he felt giddy with naughtiness when he heard his name.

From all this, he had thought it'd be best if they both got to speak within a private environment, somewhere away from the roads and cars, somewhere cozy and small.

He had it planned out, he was going to wear his best outfit, go to Regulus' race to catch him after it finished and then bring up the fact that there was a lovely newly opened cat cafe just down the road that James would love to visit.

It was perfect, it was going to be executed perfectly and it was all going to go to plan. Nothing would be getting in the way of him and Regulus talking alone.

Absolutely nothing.
