Season 1, Episode 14

(Hate relationship between Athena and the sheriff of this episode. Big Warning)

Athena's POV

I smiled as I held the pregnancy test in my hands, feeling Jethro's arms wrap around my waist. "You left the bed and my warmth left, my goddess," Jethro kissed my temple and swayed us back and forth. I smiled and turned my head to look at him, "Maybe so. But guess what?" Jethro smiled and looked at the test, eyes getting bigger, "You're pregnant? I'm going to be a father again!?" I giggled as he lifted me up and spun us around. I kissed his cheek, "Now, I know what you're thinking, 'No more cases, no nothing.' I'll make you a deal." Jethro smiled, "Fine what?"

I smiled, "I work until the doctors say I can't. I'll work a desk, anything. I don't want to sit at home and do nothing. With you and in the office, I am safe. Okay?" Jethro sighed, "I can't change your mind, huh?" I shook my head, "Sorry, love. Not this time." Jethro smiled and kissed my lips, "Fine. It's a deal. But if anything major happens I don't care. You're being under lock and key, okay?" I nodded and smiled, "Okay."

-------------NCIS------------

We got into the office and I sat down at my desk, smiling. "What are you grinning about, Athena?" Cait asked me, smiling. I giggled, "You'll see." Tony looked at Cait, "Something happened. Let me guess. The boss gave you the boot, huh? No more Mrs. Gibbs." I stared at him and saw that Jethro was standing behind him with a glare. Tong sighed, "He's right behind me, isn't he?" Cait grinned, "Yep." I giggled as Jethro smacked Tony upside the head and then walked away again. Cait picked up the phone to make a call.

"It's my sister's number. I always use her as my emergency contact. No, she lives in Miami. What difference does she make if she's local or not? Well, no, of course, I could get a number of somebody in town," Cait said over the phone and I walked over putting down a piece of paper with my phone number. Cait smiled at me in thanks and picked it up, "Okay, fine. I have someone, Athena Gibbs, her number is (FAKE NUMBER). Yes, my relation to her?" Cait hesitated and I just looked at my computer. "She's my mother," Cait said confidently, then hung up the phone and I smiled softly.

Tony grinned, "Good call." Cait looked at Tony, "What on earth do you mean?" Tony chuckled, "Abby, Gerold, and I all have Athena labeled as Mom in an emergency contact." Cait smiled, "Does Gibbs know?" I smiled, "Yep. And he can't do anything about it."

Abby came around the corner and looked concerned, "Woah! Are you guys Libras?" Cait and Tony looked confused, "No?" I giggled at Abby and Tony looked confused, "Why didn't Mom answer?" Abby smiled, "Mom is a Cancer, and Gibbs is a Scorpio. They're the zodiac soulmates. Anyway, Libras are so screwed this week." Abby walked away and Jethro walks back into the bullpen with two coffees. Jethro walks over to my desk and hands me mine with a bright smile and I hear Cait and Tony whispering. "Why is he so smiley? Did Mom brainwash him?" Tony asked Cait. I giggled and kissed his cheek and whispered, "The unofficial children are nosy." Jethro chuckled and whispered back, "Let them suffer until tonight." I giggled and took a sip of my coffee, and grimacing when I found out it was herbal tea. "Jet, where is my coffee?" I asked him confused. Jethro just looked at me and smiled, "I thought it might be nice to dial back on the caffeine." He gave me a knowing look and I nodded in realization. Tony and Cait looked more confused.

Jethro's phone rang as soon as he sat down and he picked it up, looking at me with loving eyes, "Gibbs." He hung up the phone and stood up, "We have a possible execution-style murder of a Navy Lieutenant Commander in Grayson County. Call Ducky." I grabbed my things and followed Jethro out with Tony on my tail.

-At the Crime Scene-

"Gibbs. NCIS," Jethro said as we stood there with the sheriff. "Hello, Gibbs NCIS." The sheriff said and smiled at him, "You got a first name?" I stiffed up and glared at her behind my sunglasses. Cait and Tony looked at each other in fear of my face. I took a deep breath as Jethro gazed at her blankly, "Jethro." I know he's just doing this so we can get to the scene and our evidence quicker, but it's still a bitch.
