"New Life, New Enemies, Love"

Chapter 54 - Caroline

Elijah left a few moments ago, I knew he wouldn't be impressed with the little spat Klaus and I with the little witches. Does it bother me? Nah. What does bother me is Davina. 

Now don't get me wrong, humanity Caroline loved having Davina around and truly cared for her. No humanity Caroline just finds her annoying. She has been calling and texting me for the last hour something about a boy she meet at the record shop, I don't know and I rather not listen to her but as Klaus had reminded as I finished off the last witch, "We must keep appearances up." Blah, Blah, Blah. Don't get me wrong, I get keep up appearances, I do actually. I don't need anyone from my past coming to try to "save me," Elijah is enough. I know Davina would be no different. 

I close my eyes and lean back letting my body sink back into the tub with the bubbles coming up to my chin. My brain drifts to leaving Klaus so stunned at the train station. I wasn't joking about the sex actually, I would gladly do it again. The woods was quick and dirty, good don't get me wrong but in a proper bed? I couldn't image. I mean seriously Klaus is over 1,000 years old, no one can tell me that if we had had more time and a proper anything it would have been anything but amazing. That's my goal, I mean my actual goal is to rid this damn city of all of the Mikealson's enemies so my child can come home but my goal after that before my child comes home is to sleep with her father, then I'll flip the switch. I think at least. I have been thinking how much more I would be able to protect Hope without my humanity. 

*knock* *knock* *knock* 

"Love are you interested in another field trip?" Klaus's voice rings through the door away. 

"Where would this one be to?" I open my eyes and turn my head towards him smiling. He's leaning against the door frame grinning. 

"We are going to go see Jackson and the pack." I screech my lip and nose up at him then turn my head back, lean back and close my eyes.

"No thanks. No interest." 

"Oh come on love, you can show them some of your new tricks."

Still with my eyes closed I answer, "The new tricks of being without my humanity or the fact I am a cold blooded killer now?" Before Klaus can answer I continue, "How about instead of that we go out." Opening my eyes, I slowly stand all the awhile keeping my eyes glued with Klaus's, his Adam's apple bobbles  and his eyes quickly room my body but just as quick they went he recovers. Walking over to the counter Klaus grabs a towel, as he does that I step full out of the tub. Opening the towel up I walk into taking it from Klaus I put my lip out. "You're no fun, lovve." Using his own word against him. 

Klaus steps back, smirks and walks out. When he reaches my bedroom door he replied. "No thanks." Then turns looking at me, "No interest."
