Third Person
When Caroline was done Klaus and her went on with their grocery shopping, despite Klaus's approval. He wanted Caroline to rest but she insisted that she was OK and that they needed groceries if she was going to be staying. Klaus knew he wasn't going to get his way, not with Caroline and continued to let her grocery shop.
Klaus thought for split second how normal it was to be out grocery shopping with Caroline. Truth be told, whenever he was around Caroline, if not in mortal danger, things felt more human.
At the last stop before home they got lunch at the local cafe that Elijah had took Caroline a month prior. Caroline smiled at the waitress and thanked her whenever she came around. Klaus thought to himself it was nice to see her actually smile. Some she had came to New Orleans nothing had been easy for her, but her here she is sitting across from him smiling and thanking the waitress despite everything she is going through.
"What?" Caroline questions Klaus as she caught him just smiling at her.
"Oh nothing love, did you enjoy yourself?"
"Yes, so far this morning has been wonderful, I'm thankful we will finally have food in the house."
Once they finished their lunch Klaus offered Caroline his arm and she gladly took it again. Once the reached the compound they hear screaming and Caroline knew their good day was over with.
