Meanwhile Elijah confronts Celeste about her plot to tear his family down. He comes to found out that Celeste wants Klaus put down for good. That their blood oath "Always and Forever" means nothing and she will prove it to him. It was what got her killed almost two hundred years ago. She doesn't care about anything but that, her revenge is all she cares about, every other witch that came back she has been playing. She tells Elijah that she has been watching him for centuries over and over protecting his family above everything else even above the women he loved. She gives him a choice, save Rebekah from wolves, Klaus from getting daggered, or Hayley from fire. She puts a simple hex on him that leaves him laying on the ground with just enough time to save only one. Celeste also revels that she was the one that brought Caroline to New Orleans. One of the only weaknesses that the Great Nicklaus has, she explains while Elijah is down. She goes on to say that she didn't even know anything about Caroline still another witch from the other side told her. With that information Celeste walks away from Elijah laughing.
Elijah recovers just in time to get Hayley out of the plantation house fire. He sets her down and begins to yell for Rebekah as Jackson sits with Hayley. Jackson is the Alpha of the Crest Wolves that has turned out to be Hayley's original pack. Her parents were killed when she was a baby and she was smuggled out by Marcel to live a better life. Jackson was to be married to her when they both had come of age. Over all Jackson is a decent guy and just wants to keep Hayley and the baby safe, Elijah doesn't trust him but Hayley insures him that he needs to go find Rebekah, He quickly looks for Rebekah but there is no sign of her. A lot of blood is in the woods that is a mixer of Rebekah and wolves. Elijah comes back and quickly gets Hayley in his care so can race back to the compound to make sure Caroline is not hurt as well. Jackson tells Hayley that he will be by the river when she is ready to meet the rest of her family and with that he walks into the woods. Caroline reaches the doors just as Elijah leaves the plantation with Hayley.
